2025, Can you still have Both versions of the isle downloaded??

Hello, I use to play this game alot, and now in the new year, i was wanting to come back to the game, however i noticed when having to re-downloaded both versions since in case i wanted to play either of the two/ switch between them, I noticed that you cant do that anymore, and you get the Steam Subsystem Error message when trying to play Legacy..
Does anyone know of the updated new way in 2025, of how you can go about downloading and having both versions of The Isle Legacy and The Isle Evrima accessible to play/ switch between without having to redownload them everytime you want to switch?

Yes you can, the reason why you get the subsystem failed on Legacy is due to a missing steam_appid.txt file, theres some guides for this online!

I haven't been able to get that text file to fix this, it doesn't work, ive tried. There's been no updated way to have both installed anymore without there being a error message someway down the line.
