Carnotaurus Successful Tips

So you’re a baby carno and you die a lot? I have some tips for you that will keep you from dying. Some of you may know these tips. I’m just here to teach the new ones to the game some basic tips that will keep you from dying over and over.

Some basic controls:
Lmb: bite
Shift: run, get to max speed and use rmb, you will start to charge. Under your stamina you will see a red bar. When this runs out you can charge again.
1 button: global call, this is a loud roar call. Please avoid using this as a baby.
2 button: friendly call, use this to invite players to your group.
3 button: threaten call, this is usually some kind of hiss or small roar used to threaten other players.
4 button: help call, this is a screech for help.
Try to not use any of these as a baby, I use 2 to invite my friends but that’s it.
WASD are obviously movement controls.
Use Q to sniff. This will show you a compass, footprints in bright yellow, meat in red, and water in blue. Use this often. It well let you know if someone is around and if something dead is around.

Now on to the helpful tips. There are two ways you can play that I tend to play.

Bush Simulator. This type of tactic i use when I’m not playing with friends I sit in a bush until I’m hungry or thirsty. I stay quiet and press q when I am getting close to needing food. This type of tactic is insanely boring but it will get you to adult.

Now on to the next tactic. This tactic I use more often because it’s the most fun. And let’s be real, we all wanna have fun. This tactic I just call the moving tactic. I play this with friends. I stay in the North of the map and keep moving around. The north has shallow water, easy for drinking without getting gangbanged by crocs. A lot of baby Utah’s spawn here that you can easily kill. Always go after anything the same size as you. Never kill anything bigger than you and STAY AWAY from stegos. They will kill you EASILY.

Also, you can use alt to look around without turning around to look. You can use alt and lmb to bite in that direction as well.

Thanks for that! A quick question, when you're running and want to do a charge, do you single RMB click when at the target or do you hold and release when you get to the target?

The turn-radius on carnos are absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, I am absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ as carno but man if I miss the initial charge onto someone, I'm pretty much ♥♥♥♥♥♥, cuz I'll never be able to turn and charge the same dino again cuz of the slow turn-radius....

Any tips with that? cuz I mean I'm pretty much ♥♥♥♥♥♥ if I miss the initial one. even against a fckn baby raptor #skillissue
