How to respawn?

Like after walking through the map, no food/water! How do you kill off your dino to start off afresh without logging out or quiting! I saw this in a forum somewhere but I forgot the keystroke to issue.

Suicide by cliff, suicide by getting killed by someone else. The suicide button was removed as players found ways to abuse it back in the day. What I'd recommend is taking the time to learn the map, don't worry about your food/hunger but run around as a herbivore or as a velociraptor until you feel comfortable with particular areas.

what do you mean by,,, take the time to learn the map,, how much time are you talking about,, learn the map how,, ive tried for a cpl of hours wandering around till i die a dozen times,, found no plants to eat anywhere,,heard alot of sounds but barely saw anything that moved,, umm just a big umm from me mr dev,, im sure the game is awesome as a giant dino but ewrmm for new players,, i dont see how we will ever get to see,, like,, your answer is,, spend the rest of my life wandering around till i die,,untill i get so familiar with the giant map,, that i know where small pockets of food is at? are you joking me,, like,,im being punked right?

Give it time and you will began to recognize land features, or if you're confident enough look at a map and try from there

I am slowly figuring one map out by respawning everytime I find 'spawn lake' and trying to make my way back there each time. Sometimes it takes minutes, sometimes it takes hours lol

Try this site, if you click the coordinates in the TAB screen in game then Alt TAB out and open browser to this site here: https://vulnona.com/game/the_isle/

Once in there, paste the coordinates into the search bar in top left of map and search. It will show your location and it keeps track of each time you input the coordinates so you can see your path taken.

Map also has user input for death traps, water spots etc. Check it out and you will see what I mean. Also makes it easier to learn the map.

If you have nice admins, like the ones on my server - you can request a "slay" they can kill you with one click so you can choose another dino :)
