Are schooling fish back yet?

Noticed last week that schooling fish were removed, makes it difficult, if not impossible to play some species. Also have not seen turtles in a while...and I think Everma has never had crabs. I hope it's not terribly hard to add them back.

school fish are the only thing which are a problem really, only spawning on a restart and by the time you get there deinos have eaten them all :/
apart from that everything else is there. just use your ears n eyes better. dont just wander around and expect things to be handed to you on a plate you actually have to actively look and hunt for them just as a wild animal would.
all these problems some of you complain of but do nothign to change the way you play

I've also had some trouble finding some fish but they seem to spawn in player hot spots. Whether this is inside a migration zone or not, I'm not sure. Today I saw fish everywhere at North East plains. I even saw some elite fish too and bunch of deinos. I was playing as beipi at the time.

For the turtles I did some testing if they could be spawned just like boars/deers/goats by just waiting and managed to do it once. I couldn't replicate this yet and I want to do some more testing later. Here are the spots where my friends and I managed to spawn the turtles:

Hope they get turtles and crabs back spawning normally. I love playing Ptera, it's the only reliable/filling food source for them.

I have seen no fish in the southwest spawn pond, west rail access and the river by the southern most dome. Quite frustrating as that is what I rely on to get ptera started. Never had much luck with turtles and crabs. Bullfrogs still spawn decently, but pteras bite doesn't land like it used to. So by the time you kill it, someone else might make your ptera a snack cause they heard you squawking at it.

Even while in a migration zone, didn't have fish spawn. Hope they fix whatever the issue is with it soon!

Going to try spawning water access and see if I have better luck.

They are only interrested in money, I'm 100% convinced that after 9 years of no real progress in development, the game is now just a scam. Do barely enough to not become abandonware and cash out on people who dont know how bad it is, btw did you know the devs (100% confirmed) buy reviews?

You won't, last "Hotfix" is half a week ago and the week before that it was even worse, the devs don't care.

Alright back with some proof that fish, crabs, rabbits and turtles still spawn, just at very highly populated places like South or North East plains

The crabs and turtles spawned at the same beach that I posted earlier, West from the South plains at the coast. The fish and the rabbit hole spawned at the South plains river. I've seen fish and rabbit holes at North East plains too.

I think it is known that AI does spawn around and close hotspot area. It was just that fish was often missing, because deino players ate it all and it did not respawn, until server restart.

What I gathered so far from the discussions is that there is still many empty places on the map. I personally did find school fish at some spots, but rarely. Again is about a week ago and old news.

Does AI still not spawn on more remote places?

After a server restart, schooling fish appear, and large fish also appear, but when they are eaten, they will not spawn in that location again until the next restart. In other words, if you went to the server to play and ate all the fish in the lake before you arrived, you won’t see them. This is a broken freshwater ai spawn balance

After today's update, schooling fish will not spawn. Also, crabs and turtles do not spawn, which makes the gameplay for Pteranodon broken again.

There are no Turtle spawns and crabs are only available by foraging with a Beipi. So they definitely are not fine. In over 280 hrs gameplay i have not seen one turtle or crab just roaming.

Last night I did see schooling fish respawn, I and some other Herrera emptied out a spot of them and later(no server restart) there were fish there again.

I am not sure if it was a unicorn situation or not but at least its something which sums up the entire patches. Not great, not good, but something.

Fish are back but they're nerfed so they can barely even keep a Ptera alive. 10/10 developers.
