Why does this game even exist?

Honest-to-God, this reminds me of Team Fortress 2. The playerbase is so hostile to the developers, cheaters are running amok on official servers, the game runs about as well as a one-legged elephant, and best of all the devs don't truly seem to care. All of the good, useful content such as survival guides were made before Evrima, so if you want to play Evrima, you're on your own. Mix packs plague the game and apparently it's up to the community to put an end to a problem caused by the devs. Half of the discussions in general discussions are complaints. The servers are as reliable as the Secret Service. As it was said in "Welcome to Team Fortress," our own devs don't want us to play. The one active moderator I've seen in these discussions was probably some kid they hired off their Discord; paid with Nitro. In-game, I have never in my time playing encountered a moderator. I truly commend anyone who manages to set up a community server, and my heart goes out to those especially who have figured out how to make custom game settings.

Devs, your own players hate the game. I've been writing this while waiting for Windows 11 to pull itself together and update so that DirectX 12 can stop having a meltdown despite my PC fully being capable of running this as it has in the past. Your updates break more than they could ever hope to fix. Speaking of, it feels like months between each update. I know you are a small team, but the fact of the matter is that many other small teams have gotten twice as much done in half the time. Your content output rate is quite literally comparable to that of Mojang.

So I'll say it one more time on behalf of this community.

FIX THE GAME.

this game is a scam 200%. Apart the beautiful scenery everyone experience high frustration that could be fix just by listenning the community and change setup within an hour, that could have done for years. Forget this scam game. DEV does not respect their players at all.

Look at all the way they manage, even their forum is strictly prohibited to post, most people got banned on discord to tell their feeling, it's a ffff dictatorship, and i was also fan of the game, i just stopped because of 5 minutes stamina restoration, that was absurd.

Now problem is player keep hoping something better, that will never ever happens, look their timeline

It makes more sense when you realized they've abandoned a project or two in the past with no warning and that this game has been in development almost as long as Star Citizen has

i didn't even know the devs made other games. a game being updated consistently for a long time is good. this is bad because the updates are neither consistent nor good and i'd bet my bottom dollar if it didn't make as much money they would abandon it.

Despite all the bugs this game is not that bad you only need a crazy pc like i9-14900 and a rtx 4090 or something with 16 go to have good fps. You gonna ask why you need that its because the game is not optimize and will never be. Because why devs would do that if money can solve it. Indie devs logics.

This is from the fact that Dondi was constantly fighting with the other devs on Primal Carnage. He bailed on that project, but it didnt get abandoned. What did happen, was almost the exact same thing that the Isle did..... "oh no, there is a problem with the code, and we have to remake the game, and oh by the way you need to repurchase it because we had to do so much work and it's technically a new game..."

Incorrect. Evrima and Isla Spiro are just different beta's of the rebuild that are free. You don't have to buy the game again. Not sure where you got that info from.

Hmm, i could have sworn I had to repurchase the Isle after the big recode from legacy. Maybe I'm getting it mixed up with Ark. Or maybe I'm just remembering them talking about it, but they never did.

I've this game since 2018 and i never had to repurchase it. It's was ARK that required you to repurchase it if you wanted to play on UE5, since it was suppose to be free like the evrima from the UE4 old build.

to be fair, it is not abandoned. it gets updated pretty frequently, even if they are small updates usually.

these updates are nothing serious. they are just churned out to keep up the appearance of a game that is in active development.
I wouldn't be surprised if these updates are held back and deliberately released at long intervals.
what we get with every new update is ridiculous and a disgrace for any development studio.

it is pretty fun....i mainly play Cera....got killed by 2 omni at 60%.....2 days later i killed them.
Teno's are tough but i can handle some of them....so it is always exiting....not knowing if you can survive your next battle.

if you don't like it.....that's fine....maybe delete the game and stop giving negative replies :-)
