Why on earth did the devs make out this dinosaur climbed trees? When in fact it never did, I did some research and there is no evidence of it, I think this needs to be changed, this dinosaur was too big to even climb a tree

i 5% aggre, herra has a default skin that blends in with grass, making it easy to ambush. but herra is so weak that they need to climb, and have strong attacks in the air.

There were dinosaurs that climbed and lived in tree's... we have dozens from China. Might need to update your self on modern paleontology. I would be happy to link a few if you would like!

Yes, however hererrasaurus is not one of them. based on the skeleton, there is no evidence that it would be able to position its arms in a way that would allow it to cling to vertical surfaces, much less lift its own body weight. Luckily the hererra ingame is a lab created genetic mutant.

This isnt historical dinos in the age of dinos. This is like Jurasic park or world were ur lab grown with prob some substitutive DNA and Mutations to make you.

It's a mutant. Realism has nothing to do with this one. The Isle's herrera is literally mutated. It's also the reason Troodon doesn't have feathers and hypsi spits.

The Isle does not take place in ancient times. It's a sci fi similar to Jurassic Park. These creatures are hybrids in the shape of dinosaurs with messed up genes who have escaped containment, resulting in a chaotic moshpit ecosystem mess that probably destroyed the ecosystem that was originally on the island. I imagine the small NPC pterosaurs who harrass you and infest trees were not friendly with a lot of the birds.

Because it makes for a fun playable. Dondi has said before for many dinosaurs all we know is they could walk and bite stuff. There will always be a degree of creative license for the sake of gameplay.

i think it would have been likely that the herrera could have climbed, the estimated suggested height and weight of an adult was around 1.8m in height and 180kg in weight. given the fact a black bear can weigh as much as 500kg and stand 6-7ft in a bipedal stance and can also climb trees, negates that its size was a limiting factor

because its a game and lets be honest we really dont know much at all about dinos as much as we think.
