Reporting hackers on the isle - the most infuriating experience

This croc followed me from shore flying in like this with his tail up in the air.

I was at 95% growth (so I had a growth disadvantage) when he showed up at the highlands lake, but since I had +5% movement speed I decided to run out of the water to escape - and it was working since I've actually been slightly faster than him. Less than a minute into the chase on land a mixpack of like 6 Ceras and Omnis arrived only attacking me (I guess the other croc was part of the mixpack) so I decided to return to the lake. When I reached the water the other croc was still pretty far away (like 100m) so I thought that I would have made it, but then he suddenly came flying in tail up landing in the water right next to me and at that point it just took him like 2 bites to kill me.

This was already quite infuriating, but this unfortunately isn't the end of the story.

So I tried to report him - I had this screenshot and additional details - it happened on EU2 on the highlands lake 2025-01-02 2:48PM CET. I found out that since there is no ingame feature to report players I would have to join the official discord server. I'm hardly ever using discord and when trying to join I got a message that the server does not allow users without profile pictures and I therefore couldn't join. I changed that, but it didn't change the outcome. I read on reddit that they auto ban people trying to join without a profile picture for bot protection.

Like what is this situation? You get hunted down by mix packing hackers on an official server and aren't even able to report them?

yeah im still new to isle and yesterday in Au east 2 someone was acroc and just flying around us in the sky didnt attack anyone he was just flying around us for ages

You did the right thing, reporting the cheaters with proof does get them banned, but yeah unfortunately you came up against the auto-ban in discord which really sucks because you made the big effort to help

Just don't expect a speedy reply, but at least set the process in motion

Also if you ever see anything like a cheater again, press 'F2' in game to start the in-game recording that records the cheaters Steam Name and Steam ID, this is all the proof you need to get them banned, send the recording with a description to any Admin in discord (when you eventually get a chance again)
