pls make deinosuchus great again

lets be honest last changes make play deinosuchus frustrating since ''new'' respawns and Schooling fish doesnt fill anymore you know your condene to die of starvation not talking about they force to be even more cannibalistic, not be able to be in certain ponds anymore cose schooling fish are useless, salt water mutation cmpletly useless cose again whats the point to travel around if you know you will die of starvation, migration and places become bored i remember those days when acces was a beautiful mess migrate to south river was an adventure the way to east pond was exciting and once there u feel fkng good nothing of this exist anymore in my opion as a solo main deinosuchus with more than 500hrs

Playing as a Deinosuchus just isn’t worth it. You have to sit around and wait for something to come by, but even on a 250-player server, that barely ever happens. The map is way too big and feels empty. The only way to fix it would be to make the map smaller or connect more servers together.

Completely agree, it's totally broken at the moment, I'm a relatively new player, been in the game for about a week trying both official and unofficial servers trying to main Deino and it is just unplayable with AI spawns as they are. Doesn't matter if you're on official or somewhere with x3 or x5 spawns (5x0 is still 0 and if all the players are somewhere else on the map [South Plains] then that's where the ai is spawning). I can't even stay alive long enough in River Delta to unlock saltwater mutation to get to South Plains on a x3 AI server.

I played around 2 months ago or so and it was fine as deino. Fish was ass, but that's why you got crocs to eat. Also pigs/deer crossing the river. And with AI as abundant as it is now... literally git gud.

Problem is the rivers and ponds etc are poorly designed so deino players have to jump through lots of hoops to get around (take certain mutations so you can survive a trip to some other locations and still almost die to dehydration). Playing as deino right now is a frustrating and boring experience due to that.

You should be able to travel around the map through rivers and reach every hotspot easily. Either rework the river system or make dehydration much less punishing so taking trips to other locales isn't such a pita. Either way all players are hyper conscious about deinos which makes it even harder to ambush anything. Maybe I just suck or don't have much experience but I haven't been able to ambush a single player coming for a drink and I've been playing an adult deino for like 3 days already (mostly been eating fish and other deinos which gets boring fast).

Deino's are WAY too strong. I've played a dibble all day getting two to above 80% grown. My latest was 89% grown and I died. I couldn't do ANYTHING. After so many hours of growing it just to die within 10 secs. I'm just so fed up with this game.

Ai is on no way abundant, this is a BS argument, AI spawning appears to be tied to a combination of server population and player location, if you're in an area with lots of players, there's no shortage of AI, but due to the reasons others have already mentioned on many servers Deino spawn locations seem to be largely populated just by other Deino, and that's if you're lucky, in many cases they're simply devoid of any and all life as everyone clusters around Southern Plains and Highlands

Only thing that threw me off was I kept being attacked by other Dienosuchus, even when I would announce in chat I was friendly, other than that survival was pretty easy, just took longer than the other species to grow fully

Biggest I've been is 90% on an unofficial 3x ai but then starved due to no players and no ai to eat, I only reached that size because I teamed up with another Deino and the two of us being in the same area caused more ai to spawn but otherwise everyone was in South Plains. At that point I was eating a whole herd of deer to little effect so when my buddy went offline it was game over. I was even told by a server admin that North Lake and River is basically "croc jail" because there's nothing there and that everyone was in South Plains.

Either the ai spawns need fixing to be less dependent on the presence of multiple players or Deino needs to be able to spawn in South Plains river. Or the waterways need better connections that don't require saltwater mutation to access.

It's less of an issue on official servers because spawn is random, so you can survive in North Lake, Water access, river etc. because some players do spawn there, but ultimately most land Dino's migrate to South Plains. Biggest I've been on official is about 60%. Sure I get eaten by other Deino a lot but at this point I'm more worried about starving, at least if I get eaten it's usually something I did wrong, I can learn from it, if I die from starvation it is literally RNG and the presence or absence of other players and there's nothing I can do about it.

On unofficial with spawn choices choosing Deino is a death sentence even with X3 AI because everyone spawns South Plains area but Deino cannot and cannot access it without Saltwater mutation, which you'll die from starvation before you unlock.

your issue for being bad. Deinos are supposed to be strong, if you're playing dibble and still getting killed by deinos you have a HUGE skill issue. Maybe you should uninstall and rid everyone of your presence instead of complaining

its an 8-ton croc lol....its gonna be OP but its lucky to be OP once a play session because you rarely see people as deino
