They are also on each other's diets.
On top of this another deinosuchus is typically a good meal.
So a combination of being a Cannibalistic Species, Competitive Apexes and a lack of large prey in the water and overall competition for space has this species suffer from a very high intraspecies violence rate.
Hope that answered your question.
Pretty much accept for a baby Deinsuchus being a "good" meal for a adult Deinsuchus part
That and I really don't think it makes one bit of difference about being on each others diet, as they eat everything and anything diet be damned, I honestly don't think it ever crosses a Deinosuchus mind whether its on their diet or not they just kill and eat it regardless of whose diet it was on
also to stop competition since the only real other preditor for a adult croc is another adult. Killing babe is free food even if small, and less competition for furture food and risk of being eaten himself.
OP has only played a Deinosuchus once, hasn't died and is still alive 100% full adult and have never attack another Deinosuchus unless attacked first.
OP was just wondering why I'm always being attacked by other Deinosuchus even after I say I'm friendly.
OP hasn't yet but is heavily leaning towards just attacking on sight first and saving myself the headache
Almost every other dino I have played always seem willing to work together most of the time, at least so far anyways.
like said before , it's a mix of diet need , competition and protection .... hell , as a fg , i was once attacked by a sub adult in a small pond , he probably thought i was afk , he did serve as a good meal ...
before the ai update , when highland lake could feed 10 or so fg deino on ai alone , i got killed numerous time by fg crocs as a juvi travelling there .... essentially , trust no one but friend on vocal .... sad but that's the reality of a deino life
Yet some 80%+ person will always kill you at 50, despite there being like, 6 fish within sight.
Hell, I spent days feeding baby crocs big fish. You absolutely don't have to play like an utter ♥♥♥♥ as Deino. Hell, I got myself from 1/4 food to nearly full just hitting crap fish schools.
The difference between "great diet" and "perfect diet" is SFA. I think Deino's should leave the aggro for trolling people trying to drink.
Unless it's swamp, then you can all go to hell and I am eating you.
I was literally playing it just now. I was at about 65%, feeding myself AND 4-6 hatchling/juvenile players. 80% bro decides he needs to minmax his protein for next to no reason, but ultimately reduced his AI spawn chances. It's a hilariously bad decision because he feels the need to see "perfect" instead of "great". I could see an elite fish while my guts were being rearranged. Pick better food mutations if you're starving to death at growth.
Edit - with Efficient Digestion and Enhanced Digestion, at 65% I can roll for 2-3 in game days without getting to red. You can absolutely survive on the fish, lol.
They can no longer join forces and attack Stegos or something like that. They are too afraid to do that. And there isn't that much cannibalism in real life.
It does happen sometimes, but not like in the game. The smart guys should get better information. And the "great super devs" should take out the cannibalism.
And it's usually two against one. Which proves what great cowards they are.
There are only a few who play sensibly anymore. Kill when you have hungry.
