Triceratops in offline Skin Editor
To reduce some graphical bugs and performance issues when changing to Hordetest (HT)

- Delete your Config folder to reset all settings (Do this every time after every major Update or Change of Version)

How to Delete the Config folder

1. If running The Isle, exit the game.
2. Open File Explorer.
3. Click the address bar at the top.
4. Type %localappdata% then press Enter.
5. Find "TheIsle" folder. Open it.
6. Open the "Saved" folder.
7. Delete the "Config" folder. Note: This will reset any of your custom settings to their defaults, may also improve performance
8. Start the game.

Settings will have to be adjusted again

Also Update the GPU Driver and Windows to the latest versions

Yeah, normal HT issues, the testing can be brutal with bugs, your job is to report them, just a heads up to anyone wanting to try it out

Yeah, this HT has a lot of bugs.

-wildly fluctuating ping/ rubberbanding even at low ping

-grass/foliage not rendering past 20 feet

-lighting/ nightvision issues

-stamina regen bug (normal rate 2.4 but perfect diet "buff" brings it down to 2.0)

-troodon speed mutation stacking too high (faster than carno)

-AI making noise after death and twitching like alive on every bite (maybe a "feature"?)

-AI pterodactylus spawing on corpses are invisible and unkillable.

This is what I have found so far.

I do like the look of the new grass on dirt, it looks more natural, but they need to fix the render distance.
The new north river area is beautiful, and the updates to the human structures are cool.

From the Discord:

A new patch is now available on the Hordetesting branch. You may need to restart your Steam client.

0.19.79 Hordetesting Branch

Fixed the knockdown duration of the carnotaurus, ceratosaurus and dilophosaurus
Fixed issues with the 'Reabsorption' mutation
Fixed miscellaneous VFX issues
Adjustments to the gravel texture
Added a better way to swap gender in skin preview panel
Changed ceratosaurus death pose animation
Several fixes for the triceratops - internal tests

We're aware of the server performance issues on the Hordetesting branch and are currently investigating. As part of that process, we would appreciate as many users as possible joining Official Hordetesting NA 3 - East as we are actively monitoring that specific server.

From the Discord:

"For the weekend I will be putting up a server on the Hordetesting branch with disabled migration zones and a few other settings to make sure things will be working as intended when we are ready to move this patch to public.

You can find this server at Official Hordetesting NA 4 - East"
