By biting it I'd assume. Wild boar are no joke. They kill hunting dogs all the time.
This prey item fights back, using its teeth and tusks
just think bro, its not an ordinary pig if it lives on an island with dinosaurs
they can easily kill herreras and raptors too if you are not carefull or just a juvie
Because the game has 0 concept of reality. Same reason you have to use half your stamina to take flight as a ptera

No not 50%... Ptera uses only 8% stam on take off from the ground, and 0% stam on take off from a tree hang

i did test out Ptera a few days ago.
my starting point was the beach west of SP.
i chose this point since i could drink saltwater/it has alot of food and it is the lowest point to start!
i can give percentages if needed....but for now i will tell you that you can fly/glide to swamp/westraill acces and NW pond with 45-60% of stamina.
oh....and 15-20% to go to SP itself.

going to highlands or the lake east of it....takes +-120% ....but that's cause you will need to 'climb' alot to get there.

if you start at NE ....you can fly almost anywhere without resting!!

Aw the wild boar. My favorite Isle NPC to hate. Sometimes they're buggy which can turn the difficulty up too far but they are intended to be dangerous. Back on the spiro map they use to kill my hypsi more often then actual players. For the record though know that pigs are very capable of being dangerous even in real life. Wild boar in particular being the not even domestic version are really nasty. The tusks aren't just for show. They do gore people and other predators with them if given the reason and chance to.
They are very muscular animals with a lot of mass for their size and they're GROUCHY.

you are correct sir, but i was so hungry and so confident....
My grandmother told me stories of boars maiming hunters in the woods near where she and grandpa lived, their tusks are like curved daggers that can puncture and tear through human flesh like it's nothing.

They don't just kill dogs, especially if they have piglets.
