Black screen When Hosting Game

I just bought the game. I went to Host my own game to try this game out and when I clicked confirm, I just hear rainforest noises on a black screen. I'm not sure whats happening here. Does anyone know what kind of issue this is?

When I join other peoples servers it works, but I want to host my own game so that I can get the hang of this game before playing with other people. Thank you in advance!!!

Your in Legacy the old version of the game, in-game hosting was removed some years ago

Finding an empty or near empty sever will have the similar result as single player, the maps are huge

Also try this to get onto the latest version of the game called Evrima, it also has official servers to play on

Right click the Isle in Steam > Properties > Betas > Select Evrima public

This game is in Alpha/Beta and is not a finished product by far

Anyway Installing this free game seems to work at installing it for The Isle as well, give it a try

EAC Setup is missing -> install the game "VRchat" from Steam library, run it once and close it, play The Isle

"VRChat" is apparently overrun by pedos and you're saying this will solve my anti-cheat problem? How does a separate game solve my anti-cheat issue?... Can you please be more clear about what I need to do and why?

Your NOT going to be playing VRchat, run it once to install EAC so The Isle can use it, run The Isle once, then delete VRchat forever, move on with your life

For those with that "Easy Anti-Cheat is not installed" issue, there are some steps you can do to solve it

"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\The Isle"

there is a file called InstallAntiCheat.bat, just run it and try running the game again.

Go to the game folder. Right click game in steam, properties, local files, browse.
Should send you here: steamapps\common\The Isle

Delete EasyAntiCheat folder.
Then Verify intergrity of game files.

After this the game should download an insignificant small amount of files.
Run the game, now it installs EasyAntiCheat for you.

- Right Click The Isle [Evrima] in steam.
- Properties
- Local Files
- Browse
- Open EasyAntiCheat Folder
- Double click EasyAntiChaet_EOS_Setup. Most likely nothing will happen.
- Return to Properties / Local Files
- Verify integrity of the game files.

For anyone else with this issue, go to the game directory
