Holding E bucks the grapple so you can break out of their jaws. It expends no stamina but significantly drains theirs.

Buck and pray that you get away before it drags you too deep. Getting grabbed by a deino is usually a death sentence. You fell into a trap that was likely lying in wait for quite some time, as such, the chances of escaping will be very small.

In the event you're playing a Deino yourself, avoid Deinos you can't trust. If you're ever smaller, opt to run on land, you'll out stamina them.

(But if there's any other nearby dinos, you might have your own issues to deal with.)

You cannot if it's a full grown adult, you're just dead 99% of the time and you're already auto-bucking when grabbed. Avoid all Deinos while you're sub deino. The new diet makes it virtually where they have to eat you to keep growth rates up.

gators are such ♥♥♥♥ animals in this game i swaer to god theres no geting away you can press E to buck but if its bigger than you youre ♥♥♥♥♥♥ and most of them just drag yopu down let you go and drag you down agaiun just to drown you , they to take them out thye game or give you a better chance of getting out , they should at least show bubbles in the water when they are about to attack and thier lunge needs to be powered up in my opion i think that wil fix that problem

You can always outrun a bigger Deino on land. Fish are all you need.

What would be a decent diet in your opinion btw? (asking because if i fill the 3 slots each with a difrent nutrient all i get is growth rate increase)

You get different buffs depending on what goes where. All three nutrients gives the fastest growth but not much else. (which is a little lame since it's difficult to keep that up)
3 dots is stam buffs. Two lines is scent and night vision buffs. Z is usually some kind of healing buff. You want at least two slots filled to start seeing the buffs and mixing them can give you a different buff then a tripple.
Example. Two of three dots + a Z = bonebreak resist.

If playing on gateway for some reason 3 dots no longer carries its discription if you fill with just it so I don't know if the stam buffs still work or they are planned to be changed. The mizture of two three dots and a z still gives you bonebreak resist though.
