Empty rivers and swamps

I've seen some discussions about the lack of fish. But come on, today I tried to raise some of my deinos and what caught my attention was that all the rivers were ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ EMPTY. I swim from one end of the map to the other and I don't see any fish in the rivers. All the places where fish spawn are occupied by adult deinos who don't think about sharing food. This has been a problem for a long time and I'd like the devs to address it because why the hell would they make such huge rivers if the ecosystem doesn't exist.

During the SPIRO map I was deino main and there were also empty rivers but not on such a scale. Land dinosaurs have plenty of food. Carnivores can hunt herbivores/other carnivores and additionally you can hear the constant noises of some land AI. It's terribly unfair because raising an adult deino requires a lot of free time from the player but instead of enjoying the game with your favorite dinosaur you have to pray for something to eat. What good is a deino being at the top of predators when it's almost impossible to raise it 100% now. A little respect for deino players.

If youre going to play Deino you kinda have to play on Quick grow servers. The lack of water AI mixed with horrible playerbase means your only options are to starve to death of join them in PVP cannibalization

If you want a legit water dino experience go play POT

Hey man I know what you mean. Finally got to fully grown adult deino the other night after many death and starting a about a week ago. Had the exact same problem as you. Not enough fish to eat in the rivers and lakes!. So I tested something today. Made a ptera or whatever the flyer is called and flew from water access to river delta damn. Found one school fish the ENTIRE way. I think its to incentive hunting players but other than other deinos I saw a handful of other players and now where near the water. I hear south river is good but I mean is that intended that deino has to make that crazy migration to have any chance?

This is crazy. The map is very big but the whole ecosystem is dead. I hope the Devs are not deaf and will take care of the food supply a bit. I will still play deino but I think I will go grey before I even hit 30.

on top of that making it easier to migrate because a few min ago i got jammeed stuck in between to rocks and even the unstuck command i was f*cked very frustrating when u have to restart because of poor map terrain its a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ joke.
