Who The Hell Green Lit This Dibble!?
Like come on, this man is like a joke. He is three tonnes can stun a blooming full adult stego, and destroys many other dinosaurs with mutations or not. Not to mention the hitbox on the run lmb attack. It hits you from 6 body lengths away even on a server with good ping. I have played this game too much, and I may hate Dondi but. I thought maybe just maybe, we could get a good game at the end of the tunnel. But dibble took everything good in this game away from me. As Anakin says in Revenge of The Sith, "YOU WILL NOT TAKE THE ISLE AWAY FROM ME!"

The diablo does seem a bit strong and needs a few tweaks, but I think they are trying to set up for the T Rex, as it will have a headbutt knockover ability I believe.
they are not setting up for rex lol
Yeah probably not for an adult Rex, but for something like the Allo and Barry

Still the Evrima Dibble Stats are lower than the Legacy Dibble Stats over all, but the Evrima Dibble has far more mechanics available to it.. see below, Doqi broke it down for us

Are people really suggesting that every species in this game need to have the ability to be on a level playing field with every other species? There are species that you should have absolutely no business messing about with as certain other species. People here talking about Omni and Cerato being able to fight Diabloceratops? On what planet should that match up ever be expected to be fair? Do you see lions trying to hunt adult bull African elephants unless they absolutely need to? And when it does happen it ends 99 times out of 100 a disaster for the Lion. As it should. Same applies here, if you want to fight a dibble, you should fully expect to get ♥♥♥♥ mixed as its only something you would hunt if you literally had no other choice. It isn't on the food chain for any of the creatures currently in Evrima as a fully grown adult, so leave it the hell alone if you see it? Or at the very least see it as something you should expect to die to but feel great if you do actually manage to pull it off.

mate as a carno i got hit 2 times by dibble. Then it walked away and gave up, I stood still and it got me to less then 40% bleed, WITHOUT running at all! If that is not broken IDK what is. It should have just been added with rex or allo, not by itself. The fact it can solo a competent stego, just shows how stupidly OP it is.

You think a Carno should be able to comfortably fight an adult Diabloceratops? If it was anywhere close to realism, being hit once by it should have deleted you. The fact that you survive 2 hits tells you that the game is forgiving compared to realism, not overpowered.

as other have said, your a 1.5 ton animal being gored by a 3 ton brute with 4 feet horns, the fact you took two hits and surivived is more than enough. also there is a mutation that makes it so you can't die from bleed out, as a carno it is easy enough to run and get out of dodge an heal.

Dibble seems perfectly fine to me, ive already been killed by it playing many carnivores. Thought it was very well rounded.

Stego tho, can one shot a sub-adult deino. That doesnt make sense

Dibble is prob so strong because. Either Dondi really likes dibble, or he lacks basic foresight.

A good Warrior doesn't blame her weapon, she learns and adapts

A very fun video just released of a single Omni taking down numerous Dibble

OR because it weighs 3 tons and has horns the size of a human being, and propels said horns at close to 40kph? Could explain its strength........

All I see is "Muh realism when it suits my argument/opinion".

Single Omni using its ~23 cm long claws ripping your 3 ton Dibble to shreds might not instantly kill it but "realistically" there is no way the Dibble would recover from injuries like that, its dead.

The pain, chock and loss of blood might even "instantly" kill it. Realistically speaking ofc.
Dibble is not that OP.

2 Omnis can apparently pin a dibble. (edit: this hearsay, I'm not totally sure)

2 Carnos or Ceratos, assuming equal gameplay skill, beat dibble. I think this is actually quite a good matchup for Cerato.

Dilo is 3 v 1 vs dibble if you consider grow time. If it wasn't for bugged clones, Dibble would get clapped by Dilo pretty easy.

I dunno. It's like, 2 competent Ceratos 2 v 1 Dibble every single time. It only gets easier for everything that goes wrong with the Dibble.

Just mathematically, it only takes 9 charge bites for cerato to kill dibble, and it takes dibble 6 hits to kill Cerato with mutations. Cerato vomit has priority over Dibble knockdown and attack. The sheer number of dibbles I've killed with Cerato is ridiculous. Killed tons of Dibbles on Cerato. Every Cerato I've grown has killed like on avg 3 or so adult dibbles.

You can definitely play around Dibble. If you want to smack dibble down with a raw statstick, tho, that won't work. Really maybe the only thing that should be nerfed is that tailtip knocks down, and Dibble can knockdown Stego. Everything else is basically fine.

iunno it just doesnt seem that bad to me.
the only fights i/my group have outright lost was once when a solo dibble got a massive positional advantage on us as omnis. and one incident with hackers. everything else has seemed... reasonable. less cracked than it is in legacy if anything.
3 or 4 ceras vs 3 dibbles was a... developing (mostly) stalemate until 2 more dibbles reinforced them and one of us only died when yet more, other dibbles stumbled up behind us while we were healing after the fact. rest of us got away fine, and later tangled with another big dibble group.

I wouldnt care to solo one as really anything, but im not all that good and id be comfy at least attempting a 2v1. and dibble is i would say the first proper mid-tier back from legacy.

it's surely balanced with bigger critters (allo) in mind. regardless of the reasons and whether or not theyre valid Isle devlopment is slow. i certainly understand wanting to release dibble as soon as it's ready even before its intended idk... partner in the roster isnt.

Now that I think of it dibble is not too bad. But, there are so bloody many of them. There is always one right around the corner.

youre assuming an omni claw just pens 20cm into the hide, dinos had scales and a thick hide not skin.
