Mutations
if i may say something...

they are a good idea but....certain things worry me and i see them damaging for the game and balance

1. nesting simply giving 2 extra mutations...
that means flat advantage for group of players over solo ones...
2 extra mutations is not the way for balance
i could understand to give them 2 from the start BUT allow everyone to get the same FINAL number of mutations then...so all this becomes just a time problem, not flat permanent differences

2. saltwater one
the idea is good, but the execution can be refined...
meaning this should not bring the ability to DRINK saltwater...but to absorb it instead
you know...crocs get hydration by simply staying in water....so this is how this mutation should work imo
just allow them to sit in saltwater, not to drink it directly
i know, it is the same result in a way...but attention to detail is the point here, and this is where this game excels from what i seen and know...the great level of details
AND if this apply to other species too, the amount of hydration from saltwate should be limited...so they can drink some if necessary, but not to full capacity

3. there are just too many, and some of them not really usefull so probably never to be used
just trim them for full release please

4. hidden ones
there should be a hint or something to let the players know they exist...
in fact, i would rather have all of them like this, meaning that we have to do something in order to get them, not just pick from the list
they should be obtained, not just "activated"....
