Pteranodon get attacked literally every time they eat, wtf?

What the heck is the point of playing Pteranodon when you get attacked the moment you carry a fish? They used to be my favorite thing to play, now you have to not only risk getting a fish cause you may glitch into water from the awful fishing mechanic, or getting eaten by a deino, but now you get punished for even catching one due to the fact those little mini pteras chase you and beat the snot out of you for carrying food. Who made that design choice? lol I had to sit 15 minutes to recover the health and stamina because of it every couple of fish or i would die and have to start over..?

Not really a problem in the hordetest, so the next update will make that a bit less risky, but the trick anyway is to eat your food quickly before they see your food,

It's everyone not just Pteranodon. They spawn shortly after a body drops which includes you catching a fish.
They are just relatively more dangerous to you, because you are rather squishy and they can fly.

On the bright side they are on your diet so if you manage to kill one you get extra nutrients for free.

i have quite a "tactic" here...not only to get rid ofthem, but also to gain diet

just catch one fish, if they come, drop it so they will go for it
then you can easily kill them on land and get diet, then get another fish

they are dangerous only on air...on land are just targets

also...never really had problems with fishing...except skill issues while i was learning how to

In addition to this advice once the scavs land they struggle to take off again so get out of their way, let them land and then land yourself to quite litterally peck them off.

is it just me or is flyer next to impossible to get 3 stamina buffs.... i wait till im pretty much red stomach as a fresh spawn. ill eat just the medium and larger looking fish, if i catch one of the super tiny ones i dont eat it...but i always end up with a full stomach and only 2 of the stamina buffs. my friend tried and she got the 3 buffs but i ate the exact same as her and i wasn't even close.... and flyer used to be my first choice but now the stamina is a joke. i hate that my favourite dino is now one of my least favourite. stam takes way to long to regen considering how quickly it drops. its not like they out killing the apex dinos so i dont see why they got the stam regen that takes 400 years.
