Sure you could eat a couple deers to get S diet, or you could eat a heart, which will fill up the diet much more rapidly, without clogging your stomach.
And with ceratos scent range and the ability to eat rotten food without issue, I´d argue cerato is the easiest carnivore to keep diets up.
Just in case you aren´t aware on how to get those organs:
Just bite a player corpse (AI dont work) until it opens up and then grab at it with G. If its properly opened you will grab one of the folllowing organs instead of meat.
Heart - S Diet
Lungs (2 of them) - Triple Dot diet
Intestine - // Diet
Stomach - supposedly the diet the player ate last, but I´m not sure about that. Seems to be triple dots more often than not.
If the player was so small that you can carry it while running, you can also shake the organs out by holding the corpse in your mouth, holding left mousebutton and shaking the mouse.
Tripple dots is best diet. XD
Well it use to be if you wanted dat stam build. I don't know how well trying to make all three nutrients the best diet turned out as I've been waiting for bigger changes to really get back into the game but I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of players didn't know about the changes and they still eat a lot of tripple dots.
Now for a note to the thread itself. A bad diet can be a little tedious to fix. I suggest actually letting your hunger drop some to have room to fill the little hexagons off to the side of your stats. If those hexagons have enough nutrient in them that any of them are lit up you don't ACTUALLY have a bad diet anymore. You just still have the debuffs because it takes a while to heal from them. You only need one hexagon full of anything to get rid of the bad diet debuffs. It does need to be full enough to light up though. If it's still greyed out you could have 99% and it doesn't count.
1. the diets dropping faster than the hunger...
how are you suposed to keep them if you can't really eat enough because you're already full...???
2. the fact that you can;t replace them unles you wait for them to expire...
it's just...very annoying and not how it should be...
waste of oportunities when you hunt something and you can't make use of it because other diet is already active and low anyway....but you can't just wait due to other players coming...
and when it finally expires...you have no hunt anymore... -,-
solution?
It should simply replace the least filled hex whenever you eat something different than you already have activated
Or just the ability to manually delete a nutrient in the tab charicter screen. You can hover over the nutrients to see their percentage. The option to click and delete them should be there. Stomach contents would remain the same so be wise and do it only when there's something to replace it and space to do so. If they fix the hunger vs. diet timing then it would be more on the player if they were impatent.
This is so counter-intuitive it hurts..
Why on earth do you get more diet eating a dinosaur piece-by-piece with g instead of just eating it with e... whatever, it works for some reason.
