Despite what many Carno players think, the changes to Charge are not actually a bad thing. Yeah against smaller dinos its a little downgrade but phasing through the target IS a big buff for fighting anything that can hurt you back.
Its infinitely better when not solo and against dangerous things like Stego and even Deino because as long as you successfully attack without running into a counter you are almost guaranteed to also get away without any retaliation which compared to before when you rammed someone and kinda got stuck on them is a huge survival buff to Carno... and yeah like I already said its a big buff for groups of Carno as now charging a target requires barely any coordination at all, you all just train through them and keep moving away to avoid hitting each other.
The pounce omega nerf is just more of the same old unmotivated raptor hate the devs apparently have.
Pounce from behind should be super EFFECTIVE not ineffective, a world where having a raptor jump up on your back and destroying your back/neck while also having the best possible position to stay on is actually a impossibility is just silly, why does that not work at all?
And yeah while pouncing someones face might seem counter productive has anyone actually thought about the consequences of having a 450kg dinosaur jump at your face/neck with their feet having at least 2 MASSIVE claws made to eviscerate a victim?
Yeah probably not a great perch to hold on to but as a pounce it should honestly be counted more as a highly effective critical attack with high damage and decent bleed, possibly even shatter their head 'bone' to cause blindness like a Pachy.
