why is this map so bad for crocs?
theres so much of the map u cant get to and if u do walk across the land dying of thirst when u finally get to a lake theres either no food or another croc waiting to kill u.
what idiot designed this thing?

Yea, it's a nice looking map but the design is 90% wrong.

The problem could be partially addressed with a better spread of spawn locations. My brother and I were messing around in the southern swamps and, honestly, if they just cut off the entire northern half of the map and made all the dinos have spawns down there it'd immediately improve the game.

Which is sad, because the map is awesome and I want more of the map available. But at the very least, if they added more "neutral" spawn zones where any animal could spawn, there'd be more options for interaction and play.

I agree. I tried playing a deino in this map and gave up. Of 10 tries spawning in the oficial server i always selected "water access" spawn, and of those 10 tries only once i managed to find water. I always spawned so far inland i had to keep running around to try and find water. I always ended up dead of thirst before reaching water or dead at the hands of another dino before i reached water. And the one time i reached water i was imediately canibalized by a hungry deino who had no food because the fish spawns aren't working for crap ... *sigh*

only one side of map where rivers are is for deinos,rest of the map is not because there is no rivers to go,rivers and lakes are empty of elite fish,no Ai or players near rivers because they have other spots to drink,and then there is multiple bridges so no need for crossing water anymore. this map isnt fun to play as deino. they need to make more rivers all over the map an make more spawnpoints. right now you might get to 100% as a deino,then what? you starve or eat other deinos,because there is no other food,or players.

Map would be great if more water sources to actually drink from, have to die of thirst to travel anywhere besides NE plains.

they need to fix food spawn before that tho , deino currently have 2 spawn and if you dont take the northern plain one you die starving. every time i try the water access spawn it was 100% empty , no other dino , no fish no food nothing... and i move across all the connected river... nothing. no food no fish no other player...

I have a Croc spawned at water access, moved down river to the delta and swamp regions in the south, found food (fish), even a Juvie Stego to munch on at swamp, that guy got a rude surprise :p

Seems to be ok right now to grow one, lots of fish, also I've been left alone as I have not seen other Crocs which I like, players don't expect you down there for the most part.. lol

you got lucky food spawned , i try a few time and went there too and i NEVER saw any food spawn

I am playing on Spiro branch... the map is just delicious for deinos and food is here and everywhere..
More than an hour playing and NO CRASH
