EVRIMA updates?

So after like a year I have installed The Isle again, and I am not impressed.
Not a single new species, they added unplayably dark nights, still horrible performance coupled with massive fps drops (from 60 fps to 2-3 fps until I restart the game) lots of server disconnects and crashes to desktop.
Are any improvements or new content planned for the near future or has the game been abandoned?

There's some new content to be released in the fall of 2028.

It sounds like you know enough. Obviously its planned just painfully down the road and extremely unpredictable

Im in the same boat. Just reinstalling the game. I didn't care for Evrima as much as vanilla. Which branch is getting love these days?

I am seeing info on humans being playable as well.

Yes, there's a couple of new dinos in the next month or so. However, they've been saying they'll release all kinds of dinos for 6+ years and we have like two.

4 Dinos for Update 6.5, and Evrima has been with us for 3 years
