Omniraptor is complete garbage now?
Just fully pounced a galli full stamina at 95% growth, twice. Didn't even scratch it up... Kicked in the face twice, dead. I really don't understand the point of the Omni. It's completely useless... Used to be my most enjoyable solo experience. I honestly have lost complete faith in these developers. Whenever something is "released" it's always at the expense of everything that already exists.

I think Omni supost to hunt like wolfs, in packs. But if what you described is truth, it does feel weird to die so easly from a single Galli. Especialy that Galli is faster so it has option to run away from Omni if needed.

Omnis are pack hunters.
Not supposed to be solo.
A solo Omni should hunt small games like juvies or rabbits.

All this non sense about each playable needing to be able to 1v1 the whole map is getting utterly irritating.
I want a survival game, not a death match.

Pounce is fixed, no more penality for failed pounce, it can pin exhausted dinos, more skin customization.
Omni is perfect now. Deadly in a pack.

Gallis are like Ostrich and an ostrich kick is able to break bones. Which the devs didn’t implement to avoid the Galli being overpowered.
I’m not rooting more for herbies than carnis but it’s balanced that herbies are able to defend themselves.

Why does everyone wants all herbies to be defenseless walking meat jerky?

Have some hunting strategy, be patient, bleed them, track them. Be a hunter.
Evrima is not a LMB fest like Legacy.
i see, someone didnt played Omni, but have a strong opinion. How sad...

Really not sure what's so difficult to grasp about what I typed up.

I successfully hunted the galli, stalking it for quite a while before planning my attack, and pinned it to the ground TWICE. Yes, I had to sit down, fully recharge my stamina, and by the time I had finished charging my stamina, it was already trying to hunt me down, after a full pounce. Then when I pinned it AGAIN for another 15 seconds, it stood up and kicked me and I died.

It's cool that you think Gallis should be ultra powerful and two shot predators that can literally pin them to the ground, raking them repeatedly with 8 inch talons for 30 seconds. But also... No. Just no.

Why does every one think that Herbivores should be so powerful that they are the ones running around and killing everything? Be it pachy, teno, stego, and now gallis.
There's nothing "survival" about this game. It's literally teams on discord, exploiting the game in any and every aspect they can, TDMing everything they see. And it's mostly herbivores that get away with this. More often than not you'll see groups of any and every herbivore, running around and killing everything.

Know what herbivores experienced IRL that isn't in the game? A fear of death, and consequence. This game rewards herbivores for taking the fight to the preds. It's stupid.

That's not how this game is played tho. Because it's faster. Now we have groups of gallis running around killing Omnis, hunting them down. The predator is the prey.

What are you on about? Omni is my main carnivore, my favourite and my most played carni lol.
Y’all are just bad trying to take on dinos almost twice your size all the time. Smh

😂 lol… i never even said that. Don’t put words here that i never typed.
I don’t even think that way.

You’re labelling me as a herbie main who plays the hunter, which i am far to be.
I’m legit neutral in this post, rooting for balance itself.

Y’all are so cringe with all this crying. I’m exiting this pointless debate.

Also, get good 😆

In my experience with raptors, I always survive longer and better in groups, so like Voyager and Lisa said, it is better to hunt like that. (Raptors are my main carnies to play as) I get that a lot of players prefer and/or thrive solo. However, I do agree that two kicks shouldn’t kill a raptor that fast. How was your health and diet at the time? Also, did it kick you in the head? We do have to take all these factors into account — where you were hit, diets, and health. It is possible the galli had a really good combo of diets, such as bleed resistant, increased max health, etc. Another thing— it could have higher health regen, meaning during the time you stopped fighting and regained stamina, it had time to heal.
(I am not accusing you of going in a fight with low health, to be clear. ^^’)

Couple things here...

I don't know if your game is bugged or something, but pinning a galli once as a 95% raptor should of killed it or at least almost killed it. I've done it before. You may have been fighting a hacker as this game is notorious for cheaters

As far as omni being a "pack hunter", sure, whatever. But by that logic everything in the game is a "pack hunter" simply because some people prefer to play together. Carnos do better in packs too, as do deinos and basically any other playable in the game. So saying that something should be played as a "pack hunter" is redundant and already understood. More people on your team is better than less

However, this doesn't mean anything. You can successfully hunt adult prey as a solo raptor. Don't listen to people who tell you otherwise. I've hunted adult birds, pachys, and once I was able to end a tenos life who was larger than me, but obviously he was probably hurt to begin with. That doesn't matter, because the game isn't about playing fair.

The combat in this game is all about ambush, stealth, and stamina management. It's about taking advantage of situations or avoiding them. I would argue that many times you are better off playing solo if you don't know the people you are grouping with.

You can go to youtube and watch people SOLO adult stegos as a raptor if you want too, people who know how to play the game can basically do anything they want.
