Deino shouldn't be like a submarine

Deinosuchus should not be able to see from above the water when fully submerged. It just makes no sense. There should be something like a camera barrier when you are fully submerged, so you can't take the camera above the water but only look up from below instead.

This also nerfs Deinosuchus in a good way and would make actual use of the ability to sense drinking/swimming dinosaurs.


Edit: This Idea is coming from someone who played Deino and finds it way to easy to hunt other players.

Same for all dino it's a third person view make you able to look around at 360%.

The whole point is that Deinos have an unfair advantage right now because they can see you when fully submerged, while you can't see them when they are fully submerged.
They already have the mechanic to sense drinking and swimming, which has literally no use right now, because you can see above the water anyway.
Not being able to see above the water when fully submerged would make more sense and nerf Deino in a good way.

Deino right now is the most overpowered Animal. You are extremely safe at all times, only larger Deinos may attack you when you are small. You never have to drink and potentially risk your life like any other Dinosaur in the game. You never have a food problem either because the water is full of ai fishes.
Literally half the playerbase plays Deino for exactly the reason that it is the easiest to play right now.

Not agree lot of cannibal as deino. The most overpowered to me still the stego if well played. You talk like that about the deino because you got ambushed that's it . Learn to play by death and all will be fine (Learn the map spot etc...)

I played every Dinosaur, including Deino and I realised it's by far the easiest thing to play right now. Cannibalism is literally your only threat (Also from my experience most Deinos are pretty chill with each other. Only ever got attacked once and that was as a juvie).
Every other Dinosaur has multiple threats, including hunger and thirst, which Deinosuchus has no problems with.
Once your'e fully grown nothing is a threat anymore.
Other Deinos won't attack you unless they want to die.

(Also please refrain from making assumptions, those have no place in an argument)

nah, it should stay how it is. youre asking for a dino that relies on stealth to have to reveal itself to see its prey. if the devs implemented what you want there would be no danger in drinking water anymore...you could just see the eyes sticking up out the water and drink somewhere else.

It does not have to reveal itself. It would still be able to see from underneath the water and also make use of the ability to sense dinosaurs drinking and swimming (a mechanic that has no real use right now, because you can see anyone way before the blue indicators appear).

hope they would sometime kick deino out of this game, absolut OP most time played by sons of bisches and make the game absolut worse cuz so many of them, or make a cap 3 dinos per 100 players. it' the only species ingame how rly ruin the fun of The Isle

I don't understand your point of view . You died easily by deino that's why people complain about it. Ask you next time why you did not drink in a safe spot because there are a lot of safe spot to drink and this is not really fair for deino but... So you would like to drink everywhere and cross river as you want and see croc before?

I don't understand you at all. You don't seem to possess the ability to participate in a discussion as you just start to assume things instead of actually discussing about the topic.

My whole argument ignited from me playing as Deino instead of dying to one.
The Deino gameplay is, as said before, fairly risk free compared to other species.
The idea I presented was merely to make it more realistic and engaging, hence the idea to make actual use of the ability to sense drinking/swimming dinosaurs.

Cuz it's a need 0 Skill Dino, just waitng under water for drinking Dinos and one hit them, even if they sub adult or full grown. Absolute ♥♥♥♥♥like in my opinion, no chance to do something against them, only when they leave water..so a need 0 skill OP species how just ruin the fun. Problem is feels like 30% of players play them..because "yeah i'm the big badass apex and need 0 skillz to kill lot's of Dinos" absolute Dino for puzzys. delete this crap species or max cap of 3-5 per server. or just nerf them hard
