Ya I know, but it would be much more fun to just sleep one dino and pick another and go to it.
If abuse is a concern, then simply only allow spawns away from the area you logged from.
Couldn't it save where those dinos were and bring those dinos in where they were and not where the previous dino of another species was? That wouldn't be teleportation. Though folks might still be able to cause some trouble with it if they purposefully log out something powerful near where they decide to hang out as something tempting to attack. And there's still the "You killed my pachy? I'll get my carno and run from where my carno was sleeping to you because I remember where we fought."
But still, if the individual dinos saved where they individual were and did not simply spawn in where the player last was then it couldn't be used as teleportation. Might be a lot more complicated then the current system though.
Personally....I just use different servers for this. I may have a hypsi on NA1 a pteranodon on NA2, a raptor on some random unofficial ect.
