Is this game worth playing?

Basicely it was a Re-make...
Legacy Branch is a Basic futured Game with more DInos...
EVRIMA is like a hope with new mechancs and advanced options to enjoy...
For now if u dont have good PC / Internet dont play it as u ll lag alot and not fun

It seems like it is coming along nicely! Humans will be a cool addition, and it looks like the art team is sketching cool new dinos like Quetz, which likely have early work being done.

It's good to pop in and out of. I usually play for a few hours for a few weeks, get bored, then come back after a few patches.

ya i mean in 2024 if they improve perfomence/servers and add up Allo/Alberto or anything that is pretty close to mid tier with heavy weight i m cool xD

The Quetz has been around for a very long time. It isn't new.

Well why its garbage?
Count in how much time it takes to re-make all the codes and write it on new engine...
Plus extra mechanics they deploy in...its like almost 2 year and i think they did a decent job!
When i played EVRIMA first time i had frekaing horrible experience of 20-30 FPS on low settings...but after 12-15 month alot of things were added patched and re-worked in good way...Now i have 80-90 FPS ( In Some Areas its Dropping off Rarely) same Setup of PC same settings..
Now we gono get updt 6.5 soon more Life Changes / Activitys / World beauty / !
Afterwards we will work on Updt 7 the best update in my opinion so far and in the mean time they ll bring in more Dinos like Small ones but also Cera / Allo / Alberto That where main fun will start..
i played alot of Survival games and i think none of em has future of an advanced combat like The Isle Does..
For me for 7-8$ game i dont expect much but surely work has Bieng done and i dont close an eye on it too like blindly saying its ****...

All i am hearing is a lot of cope, maybe if they were not stupid from get go there would be no need for a recode, game is empty, hauntingly so, no npcs to screw around with while you are trying to find players, no nothing. Also its been years, i was still in college when this game came out and that was years ago by this point.

My point of view is that i payed 7-8$ on sale for this game and i got 2000H+ Two Accounts enjoyed it alot ! no regret nor complains for 7-8$ Game !
Right now i m enjoying also EVRIMA its like a fresh air from Legacy what i used to play But i really miss Mid-Tier Heavy Fighters...i amnot Speedy type person sadly ~ i miss FAT POTATOE TRIKUU Also : (

The Isle peak happend few years ago. Community was passionate about everything, same with some of the devs. This game always had issues ( indie game after all ), but with original Legacy version updates were coming faster and game design was more modest - adjusted to small team limitations.

Then Evrima happend... and all of the sudden they decided to create " quality product " that kinda looks like a high budget game. Problem is, this is the same tiny indie developer with about 10 people working from home. Results ? Buggy, laggy and unoptimized game that after years of developement still needs EVERYTHING.

Years passed and they barely scratched the surface of what Evrima supost to have at the end. I have soft spot for this game but more I think about " math " of how realisticaly it will take to finish evrima to version 1.0 ... it's straight up depressing.

I wish they never started making evrima and just did original plan with " recode " of legacy version. Everything was ready, roster was big, graphics were nice, animations were great, people loved the game.

Worth playing is if i pay 1$ for a game i have to play it atleast 3 houre + Enjoy it not pain my self xD
i never buy games that i know i ll definetly not enjoy nor play...even if its SUPER popular...
