Herb growth times
Pachy takes at least 2hrs yet it can get 3 shotted by a cerato which is faster than it, trike takes longer than rex and giga yet can get facetanked by both of them, para takes the same time as allo yet can't even 1v1 one and has to run which is just prolonging its fate considering allo loses stam slower than it and diablo takes at least 3hrs yet its easy food for apexes.

Trike takes 6hrs, same as Trex.

owo
Two hours for Pachy? No wonder I haven't seen/heard a single one since release.

well what can i say im all for short grow times on herbs(except trike)......since most of the population plays carnivores at least let the herbies some reason to keep playing when they get eaten

All herbs including trike.

Short growth more herbs. 25% reduction would incentives more herbs. Otherwise, what is the point in being a walking buffet.

Herbs should be larger population than carnivores to support a food chain.

I'd rather see them viable in terms of power and speed than growth times reduction. It really bothers me that some dinos (not only but mostly herbis) simply can't escape certain predators because of bad stamina/stamina recovery/trot - values
I mean if you can't defend yourself you should be able to escape...

Also the excuse that herbis can form a group and therefor should generally be weaker is absolute nonsense!

I feel like herbi should be able to outrun or out stam most carnivores. Carnivors should have to ambush or sneak up to them

If they just grow faster but can't survive an encounter you will make it worse. Because this means faster regrowth of food for carnivores, allowing for bigger groups.

If they grow faster and can stand up to carnivores you still have that issue where people go herbivore to feed their carnivore friends.

So it's probably better to have them grow at roughly the same speed and make them strong enough to survive encounters aka "actually balancing them".

Still you can't make a food chain with players alone because a majority wants to play as carnivore and incentivizing a proper ratio would result in them being stuck as baby carnivores, starving and crying for carnivore buffs and not in them taking the logical step and switching to a character based on non-depleted resources.
