Bone Break Resistance
Right so I am pretty sure that of all the game mechanics this one is often the most abusable and frustrating due to how crippling a broken leg is. So certain dinosaurs have good / bad bleed resistance, Cera being a case of the former.

What if BB Resistance was made a thing? An extra fixed percentage, regardless of weight classes involved, for every dinosaur. This value would be subtracted from any bonebreak chance being calculated towards it. Example: a Diablo would have 20% chance to break a T.rex's leg, but a T.rex would have a raw 15% resistance; that would lower the chance of Diablo breaking a T.rex down to 5%, hardly reliable and therefore a bad idea for the Dibble to try and ass ride a T.rex.
Dinosaurs could logically have negative bonebreak resistances as well; this would happen on very 'frail' dinosaurs like Carno or Galli.

Now looking at survival dinosaurs, here are just some potential values;
Carno= -10%
Galli= -5%
Dryo= 0%
Giga= 0%
Utah= 5%
Dilo= 10%
Allo= 10%
Para= 10%
Maia= 15%
Rex= 15%
Diablo= 15%
Cera= 30%
Trike= 45%

This would allow for an extra level of dynamics besides weight, damage or speed; Trike currently is in a bad spot against a T.rex, however the odds that the Trike breaks a T.rex would be greater than the other way around, even tho Trike doesn't have outright great chances. Giga would not want to mess with a Trike because it lacks any resistance to bonebreak. Carno should not tango with Diablo because it is very likely to get broken.

Obvs all those values could be different, but I'd like to think they'd be set up to provide an extra dynamic and make certain dinosaurs that are generally weaker counterparts, such as between Maia & Para / Dryo & Galli, so that the generally inferior one has some advantage over the other.

Not a bad idea, but some dino's like Maia need bone break to escape predators when cornered.

The problem with combat bonebreak is that its a dice roll which makes it incredibly infuriating at times. I see where you're coming from but at the end of the day you're suggesting to introduce even more rng. And I'm not a fan of making certain dinos especially susceptible to having their legs broken by cursing them with a negative bone break resistance. At least not for as long as broken legs work as they currently do in the game.

Overall lots of fine tuning needed to be done to get it to play out somewhat right. And yet in the end it would still feel off at times because it would always be just a dice roll.

Anyways bone break is confirmed to be reworked from scratch according to Dondi. I'm a proponent of giving players more control of their dinos and I would love if ultimately leg breaking would only be possible with a dedicated attack. Something that can be anticipated and countered/avoided during combat, but also secure you a kill when used properly.

i like the idea but i think
dinos like allo,dryo and dilo should have more brone break resistance since those dinos lived in harse situations an d had to survive from such thinks in the wild (not that others didnt but i mean that some types of dinosaurus had to tank it or they would die fast such as these 3)

A few dinos are immune to bone break, and those are Pue and Camara. They get the bone break, but it temporarily slows them down before it heals in a matter of seconds.
