The Isle had always been a PvP game. Players are the resource and I hope that doesn’t change anytime soon. AI should only ever be something to eat between hunting players IMO, though I WOULD like some more ambiance in the ecosystem. The Compy and Ptera are a step in the right direction as they serve a function without being worth hunting.

Keep in mind that multiplayer is one of The Isle's core aspects, while we will have varying degrees of AI, they aren't aimed at providing a balanced singleplayer experience as that's not the focus of the game.
If you're looking for a singleplayer title, I'd suggest looking into dinosaur games like Saurian.
It doesn't have multiplayer either (lacks strong player base. No online players = nothing). Content is very low, updates are pretty lazy small builds.
This game needs A.I just to keep it alive. This game is not going make it. It just won't.
When posts like this come up I have to wonder if the poster is even aware of how ironic they’re being? Do they not know the “Game is Dying/Dead” meme or are they just playing to the tune of it?
