@OP
Rex is beyond silly strong. It's drawbacks are stamina, agility and speed. Carnotaurus is very weak and frail, all it has going for it being speed, stamina and agility.
So if confronted by Carnotaurus, if you just hold your ground you win and they can do anything.
You were 5 Rexes and lost to 2 Carnos, that just shows you had no clue how to handle the situation. You don't run after Carnos in any situation. Only Utah can outpace a sprinting Carno using ambush, so as a Giga, Rex, Trike, Parasaur... do not try to chase it down.
Hold your ground because it will rely on baiting you to make your bleed go thru the roof. Turn off your Trot to get the walk speed so you get better turn radius as the Rex and make sure, when trying to bite, to lean your attack to the side so your dino's head follows, thus you can bite a Carno going for your booty.
Do not ever advance at the Carnos bc this will expose your flank and put you in the bad position if fighting more than one, as you did in this case. They can run at you, swerve and come into your flank from having been facing you before you are likely to be able to react even if fighting only one.
Rather, if trying to bait the Carnos into rushing, walk perpendicular to them to show your flank, and be ready to turn back towards them when they start the rush. If you are patient and time it nicely, you'll get their tail as they turn away giving you a free kill w/o being bitten. Carno players generally play that dinosaur to taunt and mess with the big ones that were harder to obtain, and as such tend to go after them even when they could go for safer targets.
As a Rex pack, you can easily form a defensive formation with your friends if you play it smart, and the Carnos will have to back off because they won't bring you down. If one of you gets bit, cover him so they can lie down and heal off the bleed.
You can break Carno in one bite, and you don't need to bother going in for a second because the bleed will finish it off. If you are willing to risk it getting a last kamikaze bite you can bite it again to kill it.
when you had that jumping on dinos to utah then ill be fine with it ,but atm carno is not overpowered for me only a bit to fast
Rather than slapping a nerf on Carno, a buff to Utah, say, a much longer lasting ambush? That way, if it spots a Carno it can escape using speed above the normal sprint & get enough distance on it to abuse how stealthy & small it is.
lol more seriously, rex kill easly a carno, if you think carno are OP right now, i wonder how you would see them at the begining of the Isle when they formed mega pack and running round killing EVERYTHING by bittin they ass while the other dino was not able to do anything, thx devs for put alt turn for stoped this madness. ( and then the allo apocalypse happen lmao )
5 rex killed by 2 carno ? wtf your teamates was doin ? o_O
lmao are you sugesting they are over compensating for something?
