Beginning as a desperate/reckless juvenile is a bit much though, I agree. For sure, on officials. For the above mentioned reasons.
A player server with an admin that understands the current lack of balancing mechanics may be a solution for you, OP. If there are any such player servers out there at this time. If the Isle's AI is an issue ATM, that is a problem all by itself, I agree.
To go into specifics there:
1. Hot spot issues.
2. Grouping issues.
Path of Titans currently faces a similar issue, as their lack of mechanics also breed an imbalanced kind of game play, but they have no land AI to make up for that imbalance. They began their hungry small dinosaurs in a safe tutorial, though. A wiser course of action there, IMO. Both games treat game play like they're trying to appeal to a wide age range, so there's that reasoning for a tutorial stage, as well. in either game, really.
Path of Titans chose to add things like saltrock, and NPC corpses in the mean time. I think this is where OP is getting the idea of spawning in corpses. Or, perhaps not. While this takes away the need to hunt players (in Path of Titans) I don't know how AI handle hunger in EVRIMA right ATM. So, I can't really comment there.
I'm certain Path of Titans will reduce, or get rid of the NPC bodies and saltrock for carnivores once Ai are available as an option for hunting. How filling will they be? I don't know. As for The Isle, yes, their development issues do get in the way of game play. I'd suggest playing The Isle at a later time when they have things managed a bit better (without admins).
Not entirely what you may have wanted to hear, OP, but, I hope this helps.
"Just hunt players" is the only practical thing you can tell the current audience.
yes, right in front of me and how about everytime a corpse spawns a nuclear explosion goes of, which triggers a series of strobophobic lights on screen...... If only there was a realistic way to spawn a corpse which doesnt invaldiate realism.
The so called tools at your disposal right now are super limiting and dont feel empowering to use at all:
sight is useless if 90% of your vision is covered with foliage
sound is player controlled for the most part ---> you are gona hear only the adult ones, which want to be found
smell in its current iteration is only good for finding water and plants as the map is just to big to effectively track other players.
the only other alternative is visiting hotsspots which begs the question: why have such a big map in the first place?
