Pachy = walking chicken nugget
With the new patch, the pachy sucks. You are legit a walking dinner.

Change my mind

Played pachy for atleast 400 hours since they came out, even have a YT channel with 1v1 fights pre patch, damage calculations, fracture hitboxes.
Pretty sure Im a good pachy.

So either you are fighting potato brained carno’s or you are just that much better then me. (Probably the first one =))

And yeah utahs are easy But that is because Utah is in a bad spot aswell

Well he did say "Everytime I win almost" indicating that he doesn't win. So...

There was a Youtube video that I can’t remember or I’d link it, but essentially even a skilled Pachy against a skilled Carno can only try for a broken leg before running away. The test was done in a dense jungle where the Pachy could at least disorient the Carno, but the Pachy didn’t have the Stamina to kill the Carno.

When playing Pachy, I don't insist on killing a Carno, but it should at least be possible to reliably injure them. The Carno should think twice before touching a Pachy. A broken leg is a very powerful weapon, so I see the Pachy more in the support role, who is particularly strong in a mixed herd. It's also important to keep in mind that the balance isn't geared toward 1v1 battles.

Why would a pachy 1v1 a carno? It's not a deathmatch, the goal should be to get away.

2 carnos letting 2 pachy’s get in hits for free while also letting them regen stamina so they can get in more hits for free….

This was not a fight. This was 2 pachy players attacking 2 sandbags with a deathwish.

This is not a PvP game, it's not COD, its a survival game.. those Pachy used their locations to take advantage, the Pachy also retreated when it could, it was good survival and It was fun

Those carno really didn’t have survival in mind there.

But what exactly is there to this game other then PvP.
Officially it’s survival game, but when there is 0 PvE content and all you can do is sit on your ass all day and chat, Is it really? ^^

Don’t get me wrong. I would have done the same thing if I were those pachy, but the battle scenario is not realistic to actual dino power measurements

Your only goal is to survive, if you go in expecting balanced and fair PvP you wont survive, you learn from your mistakes or you don't, it doesn't matter, your just food for something else

The goal is to have fun…. That’s why we play this game do we not?

Every dino should have its pros and cons but right now some dino’s are nothing but cons (pachy)

But we going of topic here, so I want to get back to my OP. You haven’t convinced me pachy is viable.

Not trying to convince you, my only aim is to give my view, and yes the object of any game is fun, but that's subjective, my fun isn't always your fun

By the way since the last Carno buff and Pachy nerf it has been harder to play Pachy for sure, but it is still fun and can survive if careful, it's just a harder now

Objectively they don’t want herbivores to pvp or survive in numbers greater than 6. Just enough to provide steady food for carnivores.

They never wanted herbivores in the game to begin with and the resentment and hatred shows. The devs only think carnivore players should be able to have fun and consider anyone who picks herbivores to be mentally deficient. Meanwhile a certain dev worked on a buffalo farm years ago and there were rumors they might have tortured those buffalo to death in sadistic ways instead of killling them humanely. It’s possible now they want to get the feeling they had doing that into the game for their own sick enjoyment.

Thats worrying.

I dont feel like herbivors are getting the worse end of the stick compared to carnivors. Stego (herbivor) is strong as hell and you are legit playing the game on god-mode. Same for carno (carnivor) who legit has 0 competition in the game. Power, speed, agilty, he has it all.
But then utah (carnivor) is kinda at a bad place, same for pachy and teno (herbivors).

So to my feeling there is just an unbalance. And it shows in the servers, because all i see is stego's and carno's

I wish devs would make a analyses on the dinosaur pick rate and i bet you 90% of all players plays those 2 dinosaurs

Wrong, they're giving predatory playables the edge against their prey items. Other wise, every carnivore would be as broken as Carno.
