And i mean the swamp, not the river that runs into it...

There can be, but they are rare. I have caught schooling fish out of the swamp as ptera.

I’ve not seen any small fish in the swamp, but Deino can find the larger fish down there. As a Ptera a nice spot is the river leading into a waterfall that flows into the swamp. It’s next to the tall rock in the middle, it’s at the edge of the map and it’s quite a trek for a Deino to make since the Swamp is segmented into 3 parts with land dividing each. It’s such a hassle what Deino would possibly want to make that trip short of one who knows the Ptera think it’s a safe location and is only playing a Deino to surprise someone?

ive made the journey as deino to the location youre describing. the ptera there will land right on the rivers edge to eat the fish. the ptera themselves arent going to be enough food to sustain your hunger, but its kind of fun to surprise them. theres enough fish to be found in the swamp part of that area to grow to adult.

There is mostly big fish in the swamp. You have to eyeball them as they are sculking and deep and dont show with the bubbes. Love the swamp and tanin bleached water. Gives me the geebies when in the murk you get a glimpse of a massive deino tail go by.

Well, i searched for like min. 30 minutes , i could not find any elite fish....they must be really rare there....

Thank you, after searching around 45 min today i finally saw an elite fish, so yes, there are fishes, also smaller ones like in the river. thanks ;)
