Does anyone know how fish and other AI spawn?

im just curious if they spawn randomly around the map or if they are more likely to spawn near actual players?

Random for AI, fish seem to spawn in the same place.

okay thats what i thought, but i just wanted to check! thanks :) (if you know any good locations for fish, please share, so far ive found that the center spawn river has a lot of them, i thought fish might spawn near players but its hard to tell)
