Deino's are too weak!

Literally un-afraid 80+ people in a server and Carnos just casually swim in deep water smiting any gators they see, Utahs really cant outrun them and it doesnt help that a huge chunk of players on servers play that. They need to be nerfed or a competitor big time this is like the Rex all over again.
Stegos are extremely overpowered BUT take the same time to grow as deinos

*To explain further... If you ever tried to grow a Deino on one of the Officials servers heres how it typically goes. Stegos can kill a group of 4 Deino Adults solo. So much shallow water that Carno's just boldly walk through and kill Sub Deinos and Under. Deino's are pretty much forced to cannibalize as any and all Dinosaurs are currently to risky to fight. Despite also taking the EXACT amount of time to grow as Stegos and even being a lot heavier than them... they are NO WHERE remotely close in combat or anything really. So either they need to be buffed or they need to take less time to grow.*

Personally I managed to get to adult Deino after like 5 attempts on official. But by then it was like 5am and only 12 players online. Me and another adult Deino were forced to fight an Adult Stego for food and got demolished.

-I kinda retract the statements made on this thread. I think the Deino is kinda okay where its at but not time to grow wise. I think the stego needs to be adjusted though as that is overpowered easily.

Thbran, you forgot that in Deino's case, they dont deal any damage, so a Deino that's the same size will do nothing to a Carno, even an Adult Deino HAS to land a lunge because its bite is like cotton.

Also it takes much less time to be a full adult Carno in comparison.

its takes deino 5 hours and stego 5 hours thats crazy to me considering stego is waaay stronger.

no you haven't. A carno can solo you easily and face tank all your attacks and still kill you.

Deino can only kill a Carno by grabbing it and drowning it.

I'm just messing with you. It's been awhile since I played Deino. Last time I played the Carnos could easily kill us if we tried to fight them face to face but we can grab them and drown them pretty easily.

What I would do is grab a Carno, swim to the bottom and sit still so my Deino buddies can swim up and bite the carno on his face without him being able to fight back. All that while he is also drowning. That's the secret to killing them before they can swim away.

Hopefully none of you are writing these replies having not tried to grow a dino on an official server... its next to impossible luckily last night I managed too as a deino but then died to another overpowered dino the stego forced to fight it for food

Its funny because I pretty much assume people like you just like to hear your own voice and not actually read what I wrote.. in this case a Deino is actually bigger than a carno so safely I would assume it could kill it easily but besides that.

I totally understand people saying nerf or buff this because not everything is balanced originally. Your referencing survival of the fittest within nature but totally leave out the most balanced real world thing we have which is nature. Ignorance is not an excuse your just a troll

balance in nature, ok lets expand on that one, the foot chain, one thing gets eaten by this, that gets eaten by another and so on, the only "balance" in nature is developing defenses to ward off predators, be it colors to hide or make the predators think they are something else or think they are toxic, or actual defenses to attack with, doesnt guarantee survival, and predators arent guaranteed survival either, the weak die and the strong live

bigger doesnt mean it can kill lol a bronto is bigger than most, and its only defense is stomping, throwing its neck or tail around, but that doesnt mean itd be effective at killing because its so slow

Why are Deinos ripples still visible under water?! Thats just stupid. Even when ur deeply submerged underwater you can still see your gator's ripples on the surface and that literally ruins the purpose of being an ambush hunter because everything can see you even when ur not visible under water!
