Nothing will be said by the Devs, community blasted them in the past for exceeding promised release dates. Could be tommorow, could be in six months. That's the frustrating thing about this game.

i think not tomorrow :-( but evrima is still released, only with so less dinos :-( and gameplay.
BNut they release every few months some new dinos and gameplay. so it will be better.
Next big thing is in few days with croc-dino and fly-dino.

IF we talking about actual release of a full game. Maybe never, maybe in 4-5 years. Nobody knows. Team is tiny, so I wouldn't expect any miracles.

To end this with actual positive, we don't have to pay for Evrima, so its admirable they reworking entire game for free instead selling it as The Isle 2.

I think they must rename it as Isle next level, make the price higher and increase their team as a bigger production. Taking too long , the salary will bust the project and will be abandoned. At a low cost, this undervalue the quality of the product.
When something is good you always arrive to pay 50-60$ to get it.

Evrima has been out for 9 months

After well over 2K hours in this game, its kinda hard to hold out hope. What i don't understand is why the completed new dinos aren't added right away. The games potential is sort of meaningless if people lose interest in playing.

Because the way evrima growth works is way different which means they would have to redo the rigs and animations for those dinosaurs, they would also have to actually implement them into the game which would mean some programming work and with the whole mentality of quality over quantity that evrima has (meaning each dinosaur will have to be relatively unique gameplay wise with its own unique mechanic/niche) it will also require finding and programming abilities for those dinosaurs which is more animations too and more code of course which even when going against that mentality leaves you with having to rework all the animations and to add them to the game, in other words its not a simple import.

Anyone else remember way back before they started working on the Evrima build they said with this new engine they would essentially be releasing updates every few weeks.....Guess that was a pipe dream eh?

Right now, their having trouble with bleed/mud and the deino. Water being a factor with bleed, and the fact the devs aren't sure how to handle the situation with the deino being so water based, I guess? The devs are looking for suggestions from the community there. So if you want update 3 out sooner, help out!

They've planned to have the Deinosuchus in the game for years and years and don't know what to do or how to implement it. Brilliant.
