It's not like there's anything else to talk about currently so why not have a social conversation about dinosaur games. It's not like people cannot play multiple games of the same genre, besides some may have nice features good for The Isle
I checked out Wolf Quest (not a dinosaur game, I know) but does have a good combat system. It has a turning game, plus a bite/grapple mechanic that depicts RL hunting fairly well. Something The Isle should be paying attention too, IMO. Instead of just trying to rip off old mechanics like pouncing, and latching -which aren't going well thus far, but who knows.
Actually after rereading your post, I can see what ya mean. BoB is kinda..ya know, Bob. Its itself and i guess you can give it points for originality?
PoT seems to have promise.
- Dino vs Dino games - or games that let you play as a dinosuar;
1) The Isle - "..you know" - ARMA like sim, kind'a!
2) Beasts of Bermuda - mmorpg like
3) Path Of Titans - demo
4) Suarian - singleplayer sim
5) Ark survival + Play as a dino mod, let's you play all creatures in the game with quests and breeding/nesting
6) Primal carnage - Mp- full playable game
7) The Archotek project - mp
8) Dinosaurs Prehistoric Survivors -?
9) Dinosaurs A Prehistoric Adventure - 2d top down, ?
10) Prehistoric Kingdom- ?
11) Isles of Yore -?
12) The Beasts of 9500 - mp
13) Wolf Quest Anniversary ed. -sim - non dino
14) Maneater - watch the trailers! - non dino
- All are in a state of EA or beta,
- All are on Steam, if not google is your friend
- The top five are the most playable, then in descending order, I have played the top 8, but all need work, time and more players.
- I should add that there is a ton of player hunting dinosaur games, new and old games, most on Steam.
- Wolf Quest Anniversary ed. & Maneater get an houorable mention, for non human protaganist gameplay

PoT looks promising but is currently boring without friends
Though not a survival game I still enjoy Jurassic World Evoloution
I thoroughly appreciate this list, thank you
I wish I bought the Jurassic World Evo game while it was on sale.
You should get it when it's 50% off if you don't mind theme park builders. Personally for me Sandbox mode is the bread and butter. You can even drive around the enclosures and take photographs of their behaviour
After the release of Evrima, I went and bought Path of Titan. My hopes are in that.
Unfortunately the visits for the Evrima update are now taken over by the other issue now at hand.
Tried Evrima, got bored after growing a tenonto. Uninstalled and just going to wait for humans to come out.
