Herd/Pack Leader-Boost
So a while back i was told that herbivores that lived in herds would have a leader who they would protect, but since them it has not been talked about so im here to give a suggestion on what it could turn out to be.

This would grant a big bonus, one worthy defending, challeging or dying for.
In my head the way it should work is like this:
1-You must be in a group of atleast 2 people
2-There would be a button next to the invite one wich would say duel, this button would ask if the other person accepts the challenge,if they dont then the duel will not take place
3-If they do accept, then the persons name would be highlited red,and a small circle would apear around the combatants being it only visible to them
4-The winner would be declared it the oponent left circle or was killed by the oponent, however if one of them is killed by an outside source(such as another dino) the surviving one wont get the leader buff(thought being alive should be good as it is)

Know if you did manage to win the buff, congratulations cause now u get some bonusses:
1-Your name would turn purple for better reconizing
2-Youre herd mates will know protect you(this has to do with nº3)
3-Now ur nest can hold up to 8 eggs! each one costing only 5pp!
4-You get additional 20% of youre health added to you

Now these herb buff are all and good but i give carnivores some love too
It would work the same way,but some benefits would be changed:
1-Your name would turn orange for better reconizing
2-Youre pack mates will know protect you(this has to do with nº3)
3-Now ur nest can hold up to 6 eggs! each one costing only 10pp!
4-You get additional 10% of youre health added to you
5-Youre atacks would do another 10% of youre health

So its looking like its broken as♥♥♥♥♥♥feature,i mean u could become a pack leader rex or shant and make an army out of it,but naw i got it covered just for you megapacks and megaherds spammers.
Theres a few but critical flaws that you must know before u intent in take the role of a leader:
1-You need to be an adult
2-If you dont have a herd/pack then its pretty pointless
3-Hidding ur nest and protcting it will be harder since it will be larger and easier to spot
4-You cant progress,so youre stuck as the dino even if u break the nest u wont be able to progress or gain point ur stuck to it untill you die
5-You will starve quicker since both carnivores and herbivores lose additionaly 2% of theyre max food on each tick,it may not seem like much but while a Utahraptor is losing 6 additional food, a Giganotosaurus will be losing an additional 38,1 food and a big herbivore like Shantagosaurus will be losing 23,58 per tick of hunger and theyre known to starve fast so either migrate allot or stick to smaller herd sizes, carnivores like Giganotosaurus will have to hunt more often or even canabilize in order to survive
6-This one would be the most annoying of all, being challenged all the time, since people want those previous mentionted venefits to themselves you will be often asked for a duel and who knows if u reject theyre challenge they might kos you for it(good thing u have that extra health thought)

This is my suggestion of how it could work, its something to take seriously and the only confirmed things are those that come from the devs, still hope u liked my concept,if theres anything u wanna add leave a comment below.

why do herbs need anything they progress with no challenge and half the time they are being carebeared by some apex don't see why you need to make the game more boring

well thats the same for carnivores, they also do that, but did u actually read the topic or did you just came by to say herbs are op
nothing attacks full grown shants and trikes except packs of rex's and you wanna give them extra hp at the cost of extra hunger like its gonna affect them at all have you ever seen the herds of shants that just sit there and nothing even trys to kill them. the game doesnt need to be any more boring

dude gigas/acros/utahs and spinos can kill shants, and the only reason why theres so many shants is becausse the game is easy right now

it would be really cool but when they challenge each other if the one was hurt from before what happens
Nekrum Jul 6, 2017 @ 4:19am
well if hes hurt then hes got 2 opions, fight for the title or give it up its as simple as that
you just proved my point yet you wanna make herbs even easier do you play sandbox or something in progression the better easier dinosaurs are clearly played more the only apex i see are rexs because they are the strongest .there are no gigas and spinos lol they cant even take on a shant if spinos and gigas could actually kill shants there would be more of them

Actually a solo giga can easily kill a lone Shant as long as giga gets the jump. Only takes 3+ bites and keeping the Shant moving to kill it.

and a pack of 4 uthas can bleed out a shant aswell if theyre well coordinated

still think its a nice idea since it promotes smaller herbivores to make herds while discouraging larger dinossaurs on doing so
