Also there are over 7 dinosaur sims in development now (off the top of my head, probably more that I'm not thinking of), they're not novel anymore. It's easier to find dinosaur sims currently in development now than modern animal sims in development (nevermind how there's literally no non-dinosaur prehistoric animal sims in development, aside from Feed and Grow).
Agreed.
Besides the first Dino Crisis and Oakwood (I couldn't remember name earlier) what are they? Did you mean the small handful of JP fangames that, while not bad, are really limited gameplay wise (I guess one could count those as well)?
Of these horror games, which allow you to play as dinosaurs?
My point wasn't that the isle currently has survival horror elements (I didn't say anything about it), but that survival horror games with dinosaurs are lacking and the dinosaur sims lost their novelty in recent years due to the sudden surge of them following The Isle and Saurian. Dinosaur sims take up the lions share of animal sims currently in development.
Its the kind of fear you get when you can't see ♥♥♥♥ all at night, stop walking cause you thought you heard something, and then hear the BREATH of a tyrannosaur just outside your range of night vision.
Except those moments are rare. If you like horror survival this really isn't the game yet
