Camarasaurus size
They need to be resized.
i mean how ridiculous is a fight cama vs rex/giga/spino...
they look more like a sub version than an adult

The old size was good

The old size was ok but it’s not good for balance, personally I would rather them use the grandis size rather then the current small species. For anyone who doesn’t know grandis is the cama size in between the old one and the new small one. So it’s the middle that actually represents the current health pool of cama accurately.
Just because a sauropod doesn't tower over its predators doesn't mean it still can't run the bastards over (and even then cama still kinda does tower over them, just not rediculously so).

for cama being so small currently it should be way faster. rex is like the same size but is almost an olympic runner in comparison. i dont believe camara was that slow. puerta and brachiosaurus were probly super slow and loud though. but in the end dinosaur locomotion is confusing irl so i dunno

Should it? For something that is like 12 tons it looks like it's hauling ass to me.

well my point is how odd these creatures are when you think about it. why would a four legged heavy animal be so slow compared to an animal only a few tons lighter on just 2 legs. dinosaur biology is odd. camarasaurus seems like it would be less of a land whale is my only argument here. and also rex's would just hunt camaras for sport in real life. allos make sense hunting it based on size but cam with its little tail and lower hight would get utterly destroyed by one rex bite on its very reachable neck. i guess what im saying is rex would probly be far less agile but realism in a game like this would just make it horribly boring. I don't honestly know what i'm trying to drool outa my mouth with word here but yeah....dont get me wrong cam is way faster now but its weird to see this small sauropod moving so gracefully stomping along with a just as big fast noodle walking trex. i think it looks visually odd to me.

1-Camara is not "slightly heavier" than a rex, it is over double the weight. It can tread over a rex and kill it easily.
2-Smaller sauropods being easy for giant theropods....highly debatable. Smaller sauropods around the size of camara ingame, and smaller, have coexisted with gigantic theropods in the past (Giganotosaurus for example did not actually coexist with Argentinosaurus, but rather lived alongside smaller sauropods like Limaysaurus, which was the same size as giga). Considering cases like this exist, these species probably weren't fodder for these carnivores and had some way to defend themselves.

I feel like a rex could ambush a camara and rip its head off spilling blood like a gardening hose on flowers in the isle. but i think that cam is actually too small in game. looks like the real camara is bigger than the one in game... i did a tad of research.

Camarasaurus lentus is only slightly larger than the one ingame. It isn't a stretch at all.

ATM Camara could use a small buff—if an apex plays their cards right i.e. they run in, bite, and run off to heal (much faster than the Cama) they can whittle down the Cama SOLO—and it goes much faster the more packmates you have.

Camas have no counterplay for this tactic—too slow to run or chase down the attackers backing off to heal, their stomp is slow and pointless, their healing is horrendous, and friendly fire from other Camas is common.

Camas can send idiots straight to the next dimension but the smart ones that play the waiting game are guaranteed a kill.

You’re overestimating rex a bit too much there..,

wasnt really refering to the actual balance of camara anywhere in the conversation

People are complaining that that camara being tiny is dumb and that in reality at that size it'd be giant theropod fodder, when in reality not really.
I think the size and also the speed are perfectly fine atm. The Camara could reach a length from about 9-18 meters, so our Camara is not too small if we see it realistically.
Also the bigger a dinosaur is, the harder it becomes for him to hide and defend himself.

I like the camara size as it stands. Smaller sauropods are often overlooked in media, and I think it'd be neat to have one in the Isle. Pretty sure they're going to eventually add a Towering Brachiosaurus to fill that titan stereotype

What can take down a Camarasaurus anyways? I was contemplating attacking one with an Allosaurus...
