Gotta love how because the devs don't personally like something they punish the entire playerbase.
Why add the color in the first place if you're just going to take it away again? I hate this "policing how people play" nonsense, why even add skin customization anyway if you're going to make the majority of the pallet the same boring browns and pukey greens the default skins were to begin with? Clearly they don't want players to be able to... you know... customize their skins to their liking.
Also, during a stream before the Pachy and Sucho update Dondi said the reason he won’t add blue to Utah for details is cuz he knew that edgy people would just make Blue
Real sick of the "no fun allowed" mindset. How dare people have fun! How dare people want to use certain colors! Better remove colors we gave them from the start because they're popular!
Really, part of me would hate most dinosaurs having really bright colors, but this is simply a limitation for no practical reason whatsoever, just limiting the player base because they do not like what the player base might do with it.
This would be like if an MMO dev removed the a race in the game because "Furries usually play this race and I don't like Furries so remove the entire race from the game even though these people have already payed for this game and a large portion of people who aren't Furries play this same race."
So until an official explanation comes out I'm gonna sit here and HOPE that's not the logic used because that would be incredibly stupid logic for doing this. God let me hope...
We do actually legit know the colors of a few dinos, albeit very few (including taco, which the Isle's version is basically a spitting image of color wise).
Ironically enough, black (and lots of it) was a popular color scheme among various dinosaurs it seems, the ones tested anyway (Archaeopteryx was a jet black, Microraptor was an irredescent black like a grackle, and Anchiornis was a mix of black and white).
I guess you're right, and the fact you are proves to the fact that devs removed giga 5 simply because they ddin't like that people made indo skins. thanks for your feedback!
That logic is even stupider than the other reason. Like literally how is this hurting anyone if someone makes a Indoraptor looking skin? It it bugs people that much they can just kill em.
What next, they gonna remove the browns cause people are making Rexy in the game? This is faulty logic. I have never seen a game remove a color option in the game that was a popular choice without good reason. So like I said, I'm gonna sit here and HOPE that's not the logic behind this because it's... terrible thinking and very short-sighted if it is.
