Question about triceratops megaherds
On the offical server are they allowed as long as the herd doesn't go off to be an unstoppable force on the server?

For example. Can 10 trikes herd and nest together, only migrating to find food if the supply in the area drops to low or if predators become a large threat

I don't recall any rules about herd size on the official servers, but then again I play unofficial so I wouldn't know

Megaherds aren't allowed and super packs aren't allowed either, with apex limits *THE HORROR*

Right, I remember now. There use to be a huge debate over why super herds were OP, made it nearly impossible to be a carnivore on progression

Trikes are very slow. What a problem could carnivore have with trikes?

If A Carnivore is ♥♥♥♥ at what they do... A lot, otherwise it's a 75/25 chance of survival in favor of the predator

Any subadult and adult carnivore could run away from trikes. And any juvi could be stealth enough. You have a lot of opportunity to survive. Much worse if you will be on the map where packs of dilos cotrols each water source. That would be a problem.
The lion who trie to fight buffalo herd is a bad lion. He will die.

except as we all know...

Rexes are "lions" and Hadrosaurs are "Buffalo", Trikes are more akin to Rhinos.

But... the balance in this game is so munted that I don't doubt that any carni could kill just about any herbi except for trikes (only rexes and Dilos can pull off trike kills)

Thats why hadrosaurus are not buffalo. They are hamburgers.

You'll forgive the slip. I meant Trikes are like Rhinos.

and yeah. THAT is the problem.

Paras/Maias are so fragging useless it hurts.
If you check the official guidelines that are pinned to the General Discussion page (https://steamcommunity.com/app/376210/discussions/14/1729828401669165203/ ) you will see that currently its just the apex carnivores that have a pack limit
