But that's honestly a pretty flimsy estimation, as we're guessing off a fragmented, piecemeal skeleton that we can't honestly give a size or definitively a species for, or even tell if it was a juvenile or adult. I'd prefer the sizes we know for sure, but whatever. Doesn't really matter. People like to make bold claims about paleontology, that x, y, and z are all facts, but the truth is that most things are actually pretty unclear. It's why people are still arguing about Spinosaurus.
This is also another reason that Ceratosaurus is so large. The devs wanted it to be intimidating. It's supposed to bully all other carnivores that aren't apexs, and I'd assume they just decided to give it the size to match the profile.
this "bully" type of dinosaur wouldn't really fit/work for a smaller sized creature
an avarge allosaurus is 9 meters with a max of 12
8.5 is and underestimation
even if you scale from big all and adult allosaurus is 9.1 meters long
now i know devs wont remove ceratosaurus cause they put lots of work and money into it and thats ok but id like to make the sizes proper even if ceratosaurus beats a face tank
you cant change history allosaurus is a bigger faster smarter version of cerato
if they want to make ceratosaurus as they have said able to eat all corpses and such he should be smaller like irl and much faster
Personally I prefer the bigger, stockier Ceratosaurus.
