Allosaurus and ceratosaurus size
In the isle ceratosaurus is a little greater than the allo, but in real life allosaurus had a lenght of 8.5 meters and ceratosaurus only 6.7, why in game allosaurus is so small? (Sry my bad english)

Because the game isn't super accurate realism.

Also the smallest Allosaurus in comparison to the largest possible size estimate for Ceratosaurus are very very close, and the largest possible estimate for Ceratosaurus actually weighs in heavier than the smallest weight estimate for Allosaurus.

But that's honestly a pretty flimsy estimation, as we're guessing off a fragmented, piecemeal skeleton that we can't honestly give a size or definitively a species for, or even tell if it was a juvenile or adult. I'd prefer the sizes we know for sure, but whatever. Doesn't really matter. People like to make bold claims about paleontology, that x, y, and z are all facts, but the truth is that most things are actually pretty unclear. It's why people are still arguing about Spinosaurus.

This is also another reason that Ceratosaurus is so large. The devs wanted it to be intimidating. It's supposed to bully all other carnivores that aren't apexs, and I'd assume they just decided to give it the size to match the profile.

Precisely. It does just that, too. Just needs the hunger drain trimmed down.

I also think the Cerato is in a much better spot as a mid-tier sized dinosaur even though it might not be accurate

this "bully" type of dinosaur wouldn't really fit/work for a smaller sized creature

Yeah. Try bullying with a Utahraptor. Ceratosaurus is in a good spot, just needs the hunger dealt with.

sir sir sir sir siiiiiiiiiiiiiir
an avarge allosaurus is 9 meters with a max of 12
8.5 is and underestimation

there is no adult allosaurus at 8.5 meters we know of
even if you scale from big all and adult allosaurus is 9.1 meters long
Dimitris Jul 31, 2018 @ 2:21pm
if devs wanted a bully mid tier they should have added a veriety of different dinosaurus that actually are larger than allosaurus and smaller than apexes but are also bulky and could be bullies
now i know devs wont remove ceratosaurus cause they put lots of work and money into it and thats ok but id like to make the sizes proper even if ceratosaurus beats a face tank

Ceratos current size serves a function in the game ,not really much need to change it when it actually helps with a play style that makes it more than just a creature forced to spend all its time in the undergrowth because it can barely match to to anything. All that’s really happening here is people’s aesthetics being ruffled a bit

Dondi has already stated that Cerato might be getting a bit smaller, but faster than currently. This giving it less chances of face tanking, yet still being a bully and able to survive an allo fight in it's favor

that is just stupid
you cant change history allosaurus is a bigger faster smarter version of cerato
if they want to make ceratosaurus as they have said able to eat all corpses and such he should be smaller like irl and much faster

It's their game. So, yeah, they can.

Personally I prefer the bigger, stockier Ceratosaurus.

then why the heck cant they just add a dinosaur that actually had this size there are over 700 species of dinosaurs discovered and you are telling me they cant find one with correct size

Because Ceratosaurus looks cool. It's what they picked.
