MISSING DINO

so i was a sub adult giga and was almost fully grown i logged out so i log back in later on and all my progess is gone i wasnt low hp or bleeding out or anything like wtf is going on since its not my fault im not starting over of this ♥♥♥♥ doesnt get fixed soon i will be uninstalling I WILL NOT BE STARTING OVER WHEN IT ISNT MY FAULT

Did you wait for the log out timer to go all the way down before clicking?

If you logged out whilst the timer didn't get to 00:00, your dinosaur would have remained logged in and was fated to whatever killed it.

Happend to me I was a sub rex and a dilo came and started attacking me so I just logged out but Eh its whatevers I just moved on and didnt care bout losing my sub rex even after playing it for like 3 hours i stopped playing the isle and will continue playing it once recode comes

yeah, you don't safelog [timer reaches zero and disappears] then your dino is stuck in the game for 5 mins - so if anyone comes across it they could have killed it or if no one did then your dino starved/dehydrated to death.
so it's not a bug that needs fixing, it's your error not the games fault... but there's a chance you would have lost your giga anyway to another player

dude its a game and the recodes comeing and it will reset your progress plus its just a game well a amazing game play the game and it wont get fixed your a noob start with utah then go to the other dinos or just play sandbox the time you wine you will already be like a adult .

It's is a bug, same thing has happened to me many times just like tonight. I hit ESC button, menu comes up and i waited for timer to count down, it went to 00:00 and then i logged out and upon returning my dino was gone and it had me start a new dino. Happened to many times now to start over. the developers have rocks for brains the way this is set up.

are you sure that's not server related?
some servers that restart and don't have persistance loose all the player data so everyone who was on that server has lost their dino...

it's simple af. it's to prevent people from logging out if they're being chased. i find it good.. imagine you Hunt Prey and your Dino is starving.. you almost got it.. and he Disconnected.. yep.. your Dino is about to starve to death now.. you see what i wanna say with that?
on My Own server it saves your files. atleast if you wait the 1 Minute countdown.. else your dino is stuck up to 5Min~ .. and might get attacked by a Player which is walking by and spots you..

if you wait for the timer to run out, and then press the button to quit the game, and not just to log out, your dino will remain iddling in the game for several more minutes.

Safe-logging during combat is the issue. They might have a counter to that with the re-code, but we'll see. I'm talking about the giga, trike, and rex adults who safe-log if a pack of w/e or anything that might just kill them shows up. As long as they have the health, that is.

Some folks safe log in a bush if they see potential trouble, but that's overkill cowardly play lol. Not popular with a lot of players too :P Can't depend on them in groups man. A big reason I don't play apex much.

I lost mine yesterday on Official EU 3. I have spoken to some and this has happened to other people too. I guess its a bug of sorts.

it could be because Official servers will be the ones to go through the 'change over' first [before other server are told to update]
so player data could be getting scrapped because the code for it is not compatible because it might be slowly being phased out...

I also lost mine on EU3. Last time I did safelog out, oh well.
