V3 is absolutely massive, and can feel like a wasteland with even 100 players online. Looking for quiet, secluded places? V3 is most definetly your choice as a herbivore! V3 has hotspots with very high player density, but most of the map is vastly empty outisde of those
Thenyaw is a far more reasonable size, and feels rather lively with 80 players. You certainly will not feel crowded, but you will encounter others.
Do you know the size of the map?
But no, lol. Scent is not like BoB which is very powerful in that game. It's really not. You can only track footprints within 4min of them being placed, and blood for a short amount of time and only remains 'fresh' while a dinosaur is still actively bleeding, dissapearing if it heals. Scent allows you to find gore piles, not even fresh corpses, and allows you to find bushes that can be eaten as a herbivore. You also can see large bodies of water like lakes & a magnetic compass
