The Isle

The Isle

How big is the map of Isle?
Like to ask how big is the map of Isle and will things can over crowded if they are 20 player playing? When I was playing BOB 20 players get overcrowded very easily the predator know where you go to eat as a herbivo so there is no real place to escape. Is this the same in Isle where you go to a place to eat and predators will always be waiting for you? No area where it can just be quiet and peaceful?

Absolutely not... if anything most players find the maps too large.
V3 is absolutely massive, and can feel like a wasteland with even 100 players online. Looking for quiet, secluded places? V3 is most definetly your choice as a herbivore! V3 has hotspots with very high player density, but most of the map is vastly empty outisde of those

Thenyaw is a far more reasonable size, and feels rather lively with 80 players. You certainly will not feel crowded, but you will encounter others.

So you technically can go to secluded are for food and water in the Isle as a herbivore and not be found for sometime if they are 50 players in the game? I think the size is good cause eventually your going to be hunted and you would not want to be found all the time. But how about the scent wouldn't the predators pick you up very easily?

Do you know the size of the map?

IK that V3 is 16x16 km, so 256 square KMs, which is huge. IDK thenyaw.

But no, lol. Scent is not like BoB which is very powerful in that game. It's really not. You can only track footprints within 4min of them being placed, and blood for a short amount of time and only remains 'fresh' while a dinosaur is still actively bleeding, dissapearing if it heals. Scent allows you to find gore piles, not even fresh corpses, and allows you to find bushes that can be eaten as a herbivore. You also can see large bodies of water like lakes & a magnetic compass
