He hasn't treated the other devs badly from what I know, if he did, I think many more devs would've followed suit like Deathly, only that Deathly was fired IIRC.

Though I would have some trouble saying that Dondi isn't a bit of a bully at times to fans of the game and other game developers, and his blunt and straightforward nature can be seen in the wrong way.
Though I feel like "treat like trash" is a bit far as he's never been explicit outside that one discord he had, and even then I feel like 90% of that was just tongue in cheek.

Moreover i never saw him ACTUALLY treating his colleagues bad. in discord you can see some friendly banter from time to time, but no dev is forced to work for an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Yes , nerf the rex. Lets see gigas/spino all over the place. If you die to a rex you did something wrong. Wait, lets remove all the apexes. You would see suchos all over the place wich is an agile rex to 60% of the dinos (onebites tier 3 and down) . But that would be to OP aswell, lets remove suchos. You would see carnos/allos all over wich are much more dangerous then a rex/giga/spino to most dinos.
Oh yes, we would also need to remove trike/shants etc. Cus nothing would be able to challenge them if they nerfed/removed apexs :P

let rex just be hunted by groups of allosaur and suchomimus, by just reducing the weight by 1000kg and reducing health by 1200 while nerfing the base damage to 500 and then do a comparable nerf to the giga.

really, rex and giga are not op in regards to attack/hunt capability, but if you got dinosaurs in this game that will not even fear anything but their own size of dinosaurs, even if ganging up on them, you are asking for stuff to go south.

I feel like a problem is that Dondi essentially HAS created a community of a ton of actual children, intentional or not, "people being dumb" and "presenting themselves as stupid" is only Dondi suffering the consequences for it.

Also with how quiet and completely silent the devs have been about what they want with the game during sandbox, progression, survival up until now recently, fans being confused, having a different idea of direction, or a false idea of the game isn't their fault since pretty much no one knew what "Survival horror sci fi with dinosaurs" meant exactly.

You see, a lot of the influencers for The Isle, intentional or not, have a wide and big audience of kids that watch them, just look at their comment sections and you'll see what I mean.
The influencers get special treatment and basically load up the game with a bunch of details and things that are not really there.
- Dondi gifts GamingBeaver a hypo spino on a server.
- The devs frequently pop on Anthomnia's server and its no secret that Anthomnia is in bed with Dondi.
- Devs removed Feign limping since a streamer accidentally pressed G and couldn't figure out the controls.
- Videos made by people like GamingBeaver, Meatylock, and ESPECIALLY Anthomnia paint an inaccurate or just straight up false portrayal of The Isle and usually load up their title with clickbait.


Process goes like this
-Screaming youtube man makes a video on an incredibly boring game with dinos
-Kid watches video and likes it and didn't know about said game.
-Kid gets moms credit card and buys game
-Dondi and influencer both profit out of this, Dondi gets money, and the youtuber gains more follower base and thus more kids to scam.

The devs made a positive feedback loop of getting themselves money which also created a community of a lot of kids. And everyone knows what that will lead and create.

Lets see, suchos...are actually ok.

Yeah, pretty strong, but slow as ♥♥♥♥ with an ambush speed that barely catches an allo if done at the wrong distance. Without fishing, it's your screw up if a sucho does you in.

But yes, nerf the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rex in speed and bone break-and the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sub rex to. Buff the juvi and sub giga. Nuke the spino with a health nerf.

Congratulations, you fixed 1.53.3 in the apex department.

Eh. Darth, the rex is being bumped up in weight and therefore health. I doubt they'll lessen the bite force all the same, but they could at least remove the critical dmg from bone break if that continues to function the same way.

He doesn't? I don't know where you got that lie from, but the team seems to enjoy working on the game, and they all get along very well. I mean, Dondi just had one of the recently hired teammembers (a long time friend) over for a weekend, where he streamed Q&A and hangouts with him. It was really fun watching one cook dinner and the other sit on the counter by the camera and answer questions that the Community had about the game.
