Dilo is the bleed king and has the best nightvision. Utah can get to places not many other dinos can and has better stamina I believe.
Utahraptor are still largely skill and stealth based, like Dilo, given they can hunt anything vulnurable to bleed that they can get behind and keep running. They can hunt Carnos, which is quite valuable for a small dinosaur to hunt their main predator, if carefuly af, likewise can hunt Parasaurs - a much larger animal - as well as Diablos - another large prey item.
Unlike Dilo, the Utah can run around in the open and run away from most predators. Keep in mind while you run fast and have great stamina, even resting will take quite some time to fill your tank back up & if you run out of stamina you are dead, your slow trot speed and horrendous moving regen will make sure of that. Utah has a horrible juvenile state, so while it achieves adulthood faster than the Dilophosaurus as a juvi your life will be hell. Utahraptor can go pretty much anywhere without fear, due to its impeccable resistance to fall damage.
Dilophosaurus is a dinosaur with a much higher skill cap, your skill with it can take you farther than most other dinosaurs. Also, contrary to what you might be inclined to think, Dilophosaurus are a better pack based dino than Utahraptor, considering they need little to eat and a pack of them is far deadlier than a single specimen. A pack of Dilos is among the scariest things, packs I've been in have chased off Tyrannosaurus' from their terf by simply being there at nightime. Your biggest issue as a Dilo stems from how amazing your night vision is: you will lose track of day and night at times, so you might think you are in your element but it could be broad ♥♥♥♥♥♥ daylight and you'd have forgotten to check. Its just THAT good. If in a pack always make sure someone is checking the time of day because if not there will be casualties.
Your Dilo has among the best trot speeds, if not the best trot speed, in survival. You also regen stamina significantly faster than the Utah. You are not nearly as fast a runner as others, but still one of the fastest dinosaurs, the third fastest predator in Survival. Also, not only are Dilos the kings of the night, but your animations can make you somewhat harder to notice in a treeline or forest than other dinosaurs. Your run is also very quiet. Your Juvenile is also GOD tier as far as Juvis go, you can deter some pretty imposing predators by threatening with your bleed.
The big drawback to Dilo is it takes a million years to eat a carcass. You will be vulnurable while eating, and due to your frailty - a trait shared with Utah - and the general hatred of Dilos many people have, you want to only feed when you are aware of your environment.
Dilo is the assassin of the Isle.
dilo - low hp
utah + can reach high places to escape or just for fun, good stam, fast agile
utah - low hp
thats my opinion
Dilo's real only issue is that it's frail. Para and Maia outspeed it, the latter also one-shots it, but even one bite from both basically makes them unable to move, and guarantees them death if you get more than one bite in, so using them to clear out Dilos is a bad idea, especially with how long they take to grow.
Utah is really powerful as well and definitely in the top 5 best carnivores in survival right now, but it's just outmatched by Dilo in every way. Once it gets its pounce, likely it'll just be a dilo that doesn't risk death as much fighting big stuff, but has worse night vision. They both are great pack hunters and great at killing big and small stuff alike, Dilo just outclasses Utah in just about everything it needs to.
