So what do Herbivores eat now?
I remember before they used to eat flowers , i couldn't find any now so i am wondering if that changed. I am playing as oro and been pressing e on every plant type i saw , yet he wouldn't eat any.
Also herbivore food is changing all the time and i find it kind of annoying.

If you're on the dev branch you eat blue bushes that are scattered around the map.

Isle V3 Herbivore food sources (dev branch)
Are there even food sources at all? I've heard adult herbivores but I cannot find any food sources...

I have not been able to find edible plants on that map, either.

There is plenty of food on v3 it's just that most of it is not near the lakes

dev branch is bad
Can't find any food, the map has wayyy to many hills and rough terrain. At least spawn dead bodies on the map in a few random locations.

After walking around for long periods of time 5 play throughs (probably near 10 hours worth of play time). I came across like 3 players who were bigger than me and killed me.

I played again walked around the map died of hunger. At least make the game a bit more less serious and fun in a test. Have randomized locations for dead bodies so people can actually focus on other things other than finding no food or barely any players. The map is massive with about 128 players but i only found like 3 players, server felt dead despite the high population

What does the food look like? On the other map it's easily seen as a blue plant. I've wandered around V3 and seen nothing like that.

There are two maps on the dev branch. which map are you refering to? I assume the V3 with 128 players.

It's only in one biome though. And one you don't tend to visit as a juvenile.

+the saddest stuff: the bushes always got camped by carni megapacks

yes, i strongly believe dead bodies should just spawn randomly until they sort out some things. I just want to enjoy the game, i cant if im constantly in the look for food, i cant be social or even attempt to hunt/ambush when im desperately looking for some food and i can barely find anyone in the wild.

This reminds of a similar situation which i encounted in dayz which i gave up on. Looking desperately for food and not being able to do anything other than look for food. I wrote that in my review for that game and i believe it was over 200 people who agreed, which said a lot during that period in time

Just spawn only like a dozen dead bodies, people can fight over them for food or spawn enough bodies where enough people have a chance to live until they are big enough to fight and kill each other. If i reach adult age giga, imma just avoid all contact together (probably what everyone is doing in fear of having to do that all over again).

Yeah the Thenway map is better in this regard. There are several edible bushes spread out and they can't be camped by carnivores easily. Most herds will still prefer lakeside bushes but in a pinch they can wander into an out of the way location which is useful if you want to grow as a para with the huge amount of carnos and gigas around.

There won't be any need to spawn in random corpses, once AI tacos return to the game.

I actually like the v3 food from an adult Galli perspective. You are fast enough to travel around gathering food from plains and water from lakes and small enough sustain yourself from lower amounts if necessary.

With other maps you usually got drowned in plant food making the basic herbivore gameplay a rather dull affair.

On the flip side slower animals and the ones not suited for the plains (as in: all of the non-adults) are left in the dust. Carnivores camping bushes is by itself also a good thing (getting hunted means action) but the balance issues tend to make it too onesided to really enjoy the hunt.

ai needs to get here fast. dying everytime i play to starvation or spawn killers is a huge turn off.
lose a set amount of hp till you die or die from fighting food because you had no hp to begin with. only way to survive is spawn kill or join a mega pack. also giga grows too fast. alot faster than rex
The game as of right now is very toxic and its a shame because its the best dino game to play untill jpog2 releases.
