dino skins?

do dinos have skins or can we unlock them some how?

not right now but skins will be added later
the only skin (when its added) that you will have to unlock is albino and you will get it by killing your own species and thats to alert others that you are a threat and they shouldnt help so its more of a warning than somethink cool and it will restart every time you die

They are currently working on a new skin system that will allow you to make your own skins by selecting different patterns and colors (They will be limited to natural colors so you don't have any crazy rainbow dinosaurs running around). There isn't any ETA as to when this will be implemented though.

They are saying that it will come after this this patch and that patches hot fix. So I would say sooner rather than later.

What the post above yours stated is false, the old skins were removed because a change to the quality of the models rendered the older skins obsolete. Further more a new skin system is in the works that will allow players to change the colors to a degree. Of course there are always unofficial servers with their own skin mods.
