I really think this will be the best play style, if you think you'll be roaming around on land hunting large prey like a T-rex then you'll be on the losing end every time.
Anyways I really can't wait for this croc to be released! I'm hoping to keep one alive for a year or more to try to become one of the biggest across all servers!
for an example, a deinosuchus weighing 2 ton...i think that yes, it should be capable of pulling any dino under that weighs less then it, but something of comparable size....well...i feel like then there should be some button maching mechanic involved to see who is truelly the strongest at his game.
as for anything like a rex....weeeeeell, if some rex player is idiotic enough to go iddling near the water, gets attacked by a deinosuchus half the size, yet stays iddle, i think that rex should go under with it.
that being said, if the dino the deinosuchus attacks did overpower it so much that the prey it was going for did not even take much damage, and it pretty much pulls said deinosuchus on land, by right, said deinosuchus should be then laying on land, and have either the option to catapult itself in the water before it gets chewed down, which actually should happen if for an exampe he attacked some carnivore with a strong bite 2 times his mass, or either, if it is some lone herbivore of comparable weight class to himself, go at it again at of course the risk of being even pulled more onto land and being more vulnerable, that is, if said prey item did not simply u-turned out of that place and was fast enough to do so before getting bitten a second time.
