coz the spino is fun as ♥♥♥♥, and so is the Deino. Spino is the biggest Carnivore ever lived, and playing a massive Aligator is also fun
I think it will be more fun than a T-rex roaming around like a dumb ass looking for food, atleast the Deino and Spino can eat fish as well from water. its a fun change of gameplay
Any new dinos are going to be added after the recode, including the stego.
Edit: sorry, it was posted all the way back on the 10th of February in this post when the giga was made available to us again:
https://steamcommunity.com/games/TheIsle/announcements/detail/1752366427098582339
But thing is, Sucho is already in. So if they don't make Spino even more reliant on water, thus making it different than Sucho, it will just be a large Sucho clone according to the community. And if it will be just a clone, then why not add even more dinosaurs that are similar to the ones we have? Oh yes, because Spinosaurus has a large fanbase and many other dinos do not. Many of which could be, say, just as much fun as Spino is or will be.
It always seemed like, to me, that if something has large enough fanbase, money is not an issue. Regardless if the said animal will be any different, or will have any serious benefits to play as. And before you got me wrong, no Im not ranting because 'ooh my favorites are not getting into the game', or anything like that. I just think it is unfair to add something that will more likely be just a clone, than completely new dinos/animals. But of course, financially the only thing that matters is how many people you can bring in.
MMh understandable,
i get what you mean, i mean yes i do like the spino and i like it more than the sucho. the sucho is cool and all but it just isnt as good as a rex or giga. and i think having more Apex choices whould be fun so you have diffrent choices. next to that The Sucho came off the Spino fammily. Spino being the father off all the Spino family. i do get you with that it that it might be kinda like the Sucho but bigger but still it is the biggest carnivore dinosaur ever lived on land and its pretty heavy as well for a carnivore the sail was also used fore better swimming in water and the claws are masive, yes i am a fan but yet i get what you mean. (sorry i kinda wrote this fast. possibly a lot of grammar errors)
Im not bothered by grammatical errors so don't worry, as I probably made a bunch in just one post myself.
Though I might need to correct you on the Spino. As I said, if they really want to make it different than Sucho, they need to make it more reliant on water. Which, in my opinion means that Spino needs an even more quadrapedal model. And that would render it inferior in combat compared to other apexes on land. Though, it would surely kill things easily in deep water. Spino just wouldn't be a good carcass bully, or anything else. That would make it either a Trex 2.0 or Giga 2.0 .
And as for being a fan or not, don't get me wrong. I don't want to seem rude to people who love Spino. This is just my opinion.
Ah yeah true i also think the devs should do that, they need to make a way bigger boosted in water for sucho and spino when getting added, i also think the Spino should get a Slash attack with its claws like damn have you seem them? i think that whould balance it more for a apex. slash for bleed and bite for direct damage. What do you think about it combat wise .Terror. ?
It surely wasn't unarmed (no pun), but I think it shouldn't combat other adult apexes on land. I could see it using those claws to fight off mid-tier or sub apexes from carcasses near the water somewhat easily. But if Spino will be added, it will most likely outcompete Sucho in large lakes, so I think Suchos will stick to larger rivers from that point.
Mmmh maybe server will make suchos and Spinos team up, they are from the same family after all. and that whould be kinda like a small faction. t-rex and gigas will have some sort of challange in such a way than
